More over the steel from India is famous. Secondly, putting a branded stamp on this steel will get India good business! Be it in form of refined steel in the shape of automobile.

I thought India just recently master the skill to create the grade of steel that is needed to build Capitol ships? Can you elaborate why Indian steel is famous?

Mexico has emerged as the top destination for India's automobile exports, making a compelling case for the Indian engineering exporters to further push forward in the growing south American markets, according to EEPC India.

Because these goods are re-labelled as Made in Mexico and make their way into GCC and North American markets!

Even though shipments fell to destinations like Sri Lanka, South Africa and Bangladesh , they continue to remain important destinations for the auto exports accounting for $158 million, $151 million and Bangladesh $102 million respectively, the EEPC India analysis showed.

And this line signifies it..exports are falling in near neighborhood but growing in a far destination which it itself known to be major producer is clearly suspicious..in automotive circles it is well known news that Indian parts are making their way into America with "Made in Mexico" labels which accords then concession in import taxes.

Indians have capitalized largely on forging Origin markings in world wide markets.

More over the steel from India is famous. Secondly, putting a branded stamp on this steel will get India good business! Be it in form of refined steel in the shape of automobile.

Gone are the days of national brand of steel because the modern machinery and metallurgy mean any grade and quality of steel can be made anywhere..beside most of the steel is now made from recycled scrap!

we didn't have the tools but technique was known. Now both are there.

Coming to civilian use, the best quality of steel what you get in europe can be bought in India for 1/4th of the price. This is why EU had banned steel coming from India because it destroyed local producers. But had to revoke the ban in 1 month .

More over Mittal steels owns the biggest maker of steel in the world.

In steel or metal related market. India is the best.

Mittal completely ruined the so called Biggest steel maker...
TATA and Mittal have more flop stories under their belt..than successes in steel!
