People have to realize that the cross border violence due to the drug cartels are one of the main reason the border security have become so tight. Mexico is already messed up because of the drug war and the bordering states with Mexico also see such violence and with the illegal border crossing and the illegal smuggling of drugs, it is a tough job for the border security. And by the way I recommend people to watch border wars and see how the cartels use young kids to smuggle drugs into the US. As long as there are illegal immigration and drug smuggling there will be lives lost. Plus people are killed on both sides if I remember correctly it was last year or two years back when a border security agent was gunned down by the cartels and before that a man was gunned down when he was jet seeking with his wife near the border. So if people want to be safe then stay away from the border and do thing legally.

Today the opinion makers (Media + Universities) have got blinded by political correctness to such an extent that they have forgotten the basic meaning of words like racism (communalism and castism in Indian context) and related emotion provocative words and use them as political stick to beat people who they regard as "Unfit" to their high standards.Duke lacrosse case and gang of 88 could be considered as perfect example of reverse racism.
