#MeToo: Pakistani Twitter is Alleging Dawn CEO, Hameed Haroon As Jami’s Rapist

Why UK is not willing to give record of Imran Khan's black berry?

The difference between the child abuse as happened in Kasur and the culture of "bacha" in Afghanistan is the acceptance by the society. While there was a lot hue and cry in Pakistan when it was discovered and demand for justice, in Afghanistan this happens on daily basis and the society totally accepts it as some sort of necessary evil.

The disease was widespread in iran, central asia and afganistan even parts of Pakistan, i have personally seen videos of boy being raped in Punjab in social media.

Influential men raping vulnerable who is dependent on him.
I am not sure if you are aware of this, but Jammi himself is an influential man, who studied in the US and has been associated with the media for ages. He also owns a production company. This video from the year 2000 was directed by him. If he really got violated then that's because he let that happen and decided to speak up 13 years later.

How ignorant is your rant. Anyone can get molested.

Everyone should see the movie Spotlight and see how people in position of power often sexually abuse boys and men. This is not country or religion specific and hiding behind a false narrative of culture isn't going to make it go away. In every country, there will be those who will be sexually exploited. Just look at Hollywood celebrities who came out - even some top actresses against Harvey Weinstein and actors against Kevin Spacey. Same is the case with numerous Indian directors and actors. Solve the problem as a society - you can't wish it away.
This doesn't relate to the any of the scenarios you just sketched because at the time of the alleged rape, Jami was still a grown up with resources and not a helpless young boy. You don't know who Jami is, yet you like to assume that he was exploited by an influential man, just so you can connect it to the global patterns of sexual abuse.
Against Harvey Weinstein they had compelling evidence of his misdemeanours from several instances, same goes for Epstein, irrefutable evidence was there. The law suit against Kevin Spacey was dropped because the alleged victim was found to be lying and failed to serve the proof of the alleged cellular coordination between the two.

As if we didn't have enough of this metoo crap all over western media, now we have it in Pakistan too.

Happens everywhere. In the US there is some called North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) that advocates pedophilia between grown men and underage boys. Young boys are sexually victimized across the world and have been for ages.

If one decides to speak up after 12 years without evidence, He/She should be prepared to face the problems ahead. I do feel sorry if it did happen to someone and only Allah knows the pressure he/she must have been under all these years. However, if you want justice, the law of the land is to produce evidence. It is extremely difficult to produce evidence of such an act specially after some time. This is one of the reason why Allah "advises" women to cover them selves because it is 'better for them'.

“Surely those who accuse chaste believing women, unaware (of the evils), are cursed in the world and the hereafter and they shall have a grievous chastisement. On the day when their tongue and their hands and their feet shall bear witness against them as to what they did.” (Surah an-Nūr 24:23-24)

The above verses clarify that those who falsely accuse chaste men or women of adultery are cursed by Allah (S.w.T.) as long as they are alive, and in the hereafter they shall be deprived of His Divine Mercy. We should maintain our distance from such people on whom the wrath of Allah (S.w.T.) has descended and be very careful not to believe their false accusations. False accusers have to be penalised in this world according to the Islamic law. Once their testimony is proved false, they can never ever testify in a court of Islamic law.

And further it is said in the Quran:
And those who accuse free women then do not bring four witnesses, flog them, (giving eighty lashes), and do not admit any evidence from them ever, and these it is that are the transgressors.” (Surah an-Nūr 24:4)

Finally Quran being used as reference on Pakistan social media.... brother, we don't have many people like you in Pakistan. Keep up the good work.

Here in this forum suddenly everyone becomes expert.
This happens in your society . Young innocent men are also taken advantage of. Some man in earth is different . It not like if you are man you cannot be taken advantage of . Some men are strong willed while others can be weak willed innocent. To put them all in one category is wrong.
They are molested regularly in fashion industry. Every guy has to go through gay sex to become a model..the fashion society has gone so bad that no body even talks about it now and it was considered a standard practice . Nobody even questions that .
Events like this where shy weak willed youngsters are molested against their will is very wrong . Jami should come out and expoae this Nobel guy.

That is like saying Punjabi culture is raping kids and killing them [Kasur] or saying Mohajirs like you are stinking, ghutka belching cowards that ran away from Hindus and the ones left behind in India are walking lynch eunichs.
This is extreme low on your part.

The attitude like this is the core reason people of Karachi starts hating people from otger part of Pakistan.

By the way who is real coward who left their home businesses and everything for a cause that was initiated in present day india or those who keep on sitting in their home and critisizing those who fought and suffer ?

In case of a man and women, If two men do it then these person should be sent to jail for adultery.
lol and its okay for you if men and women do it hahhaha typical hate mentally

You gay and then in the same sentence complaining about being molested, what the confusion baby?
wtf u wana say? being gay doesnt mean i will allow any one to do any thing with me.
