I think the possible outcome they will delay the delivery of s400 to 2023 at most, at this stage canceling s400 will cause a huge dent in India Russia relationship, also USA good for cuting edge mil tech but not trust worthy partners as soon as Chinese threat to USA disappear the India will go back to pre 1970 records relationship between USA, good thing for Pakistan opening up Russian side may open much more advnced and cheep technology and more ease of logistics for jf17 engine's.
