Well just as an aside, my mother did still try to get me *****-whipped to an extent (i.e. pander to women and put them up on pedestals), but that didn't work. Now that I talk to her about it, she seems to think I did the right thing, since she realizes that being nice to women always ends up in them controlling you and/or walking all over you. Some may not like this, but I don't take **** from women at all. Not one iota. In my books, if you don't do something when they hit you for a stupid reason, you're taking a lot of **** from them. Furthermore, women look down on you if you take **** from them.

This is what irritating.. while I found that Delhi has many Idiots fill of them who are pervert hence a separate section of Metro is ok for Ladies.. but those who cry foul every time against atrocities over women in Delhi then Delhi girls are also not that good.. They use all hooks or crooks when they have to get seat.. They will come and directly ask a guy for ladies' seat as their birth right which involves some times aged men's seat..

My mother has always told me that if a woman hits you for a stupid reason, then by all means hit her back.

Though I can understand why you'd say that. Many mothers teach their sons to never hit women, even if they hit them first. That's their self-entitled princess syndrome doing the work - it ensures that all guys get trained to be whipped and to continue taking **** from women all their life.

If it's because women are weak, then why does nothing like this come up if a weak man hits a strong man?

You have a point. But if you hit a woman back it doesn't mean that you win the fight. Either way, you lose.

I have seen women cops in plain clothes looking for gropers and guys teasing women. If they find one, they will gang up and give a trashing that the guy won't forget. But it is unfair to hit a man just because he travels in a woman's compartment. They could act more civilized and impose a fine instead.

Yeah, well unfortunately a lot of guys are trained to act like white knights by their parents and schools. Though at least where I live, most men are understanding that if a woman has a hit a guy for a stupid reason, then they have no reason to intervene if a guy hits back.

In South Asian countries though, you'd have a battalion of white knights coming out to act as heroes and save the 'innocent' woman.

That's true.. India has some draconian laws against men . A woman can lock you up without parole under eve teasing and dowry cases without any evidence.

Yup, heard about some of such horror stories where few guys were locked up based on the word of the woman. As India becomes more developed, these false accusations will become even more common. That's because the development of a country and attitudes of women towards men - in this case how far they're willing to go against a certain man - are correlated negatively. In western countries, for instance, false accusations of rape, domestic violence, and child abuse are rife.

And yet you will hardly find a girl who have not been eve-teased, groped by sickos all around them....Stop wining my dear friend and stop looking everything from the eyes of metropolitan indian cities....Do travel on a local bus and you will see how an ordinary women is being treated....

Not really....The point is even after having draconian law you are not able to safe-guard women. B/W draconian is a misnomer here. I can go to any police station and register an FIR against you ...I don't need a proof for that....Police has to act at that time....Therafter they will carry on their investigation. Does that mean every law is draconian???

What kind of proof you expect from a women when she is eve-teased, raped or ill-treated becuase of dowry needs??? Now if someone is taking undue advantage of this then they should be booked as well...but calling the law as draconian(which in fact is still not working to the extent one would like) is completely wrong...
