What's new

Memories of 1984 Sikh Genocide and Denial of Justice continue to traumatize and infur

So you are bringing up drugs to make the Sikhs in Punjab look even lower. good for you, this is how i know the brainwashing is happening, its easier to talk smack about Sikhs then your hindoo brothers right.

youths are themselves to blame for drugs, no one is putting drugs in their mouth forcibly. & in punjab no single community is taking drugs.

last time i visited Punjab....punjab youth were still crazy about going to UK and canada than even thinking about khalistan...but i agree once they reach canada..they'll surely join KLF so that they can lecture the remaining youth in punjab to shun their career and join the campaign to work from within Punjab.

Except the bold part, the rest of your post makes perfect sense. Majority of NRIs, including Sikhs, in Canada are very honest and hard working people.

Khalistan is a thing for the uneducated ??? more like those against Sikh rights are uneducated on what happened.

I am missing a friend called iqbal brar..if anyone knows him..the debate would have been much different i bet :D

Okay as a sikh i point out 2 things that should have been done by now.
1 Jagdish Kumar and Tytler should have been in Jail atleast by NOW.
2 Sikhs should be given right to marriage under sikh marriage act( Anandkaraj act) not under Hindu marriage act..Jains and buddhist also get married under Hindu marriage act... Even pakistan has Sikh marriage act for sikh marriages.

ps80 you are in canada right.. please go up to any amritdhari sikh and give your views on khalistan, they will put you in your place

Maybe IJ exaggerated a bit, but Khalistan supporters are pretty active in Canada. Almost all Gurudwaras including the biggest one in Brampton carry Khalistan Bhindrawale banners. A couple of years back Ujjwal Dosanjh, ex-premier of BC and the first Sikh governor of a province was assaulted by Khalistani supporters when he dared to speak out against them.

agree but for one point kumar and tytler should be hanging at the end of a rope

Why and how a 23 year old guy, who was born and brought up in Canada, has any say in matters related to India and Punjab? Just because he is Sikh, that doesn't make Punjabi or Indian. Does Julia Roberts have any say on India because she is now a Hindu? :s

that is the pity story of justice in india i.e babri demolition & riots after that. gujrat riots etc. law has been always bowed down by power & that is sad but true.

I think if Canadians want a separate state for Sikhs, they should start a campaign in Canada and snatch a piece of land from Canadian govt for Sikhs. I don't understand why Canadians want Indian land!
