I guess you've been in hibernation for the last 7 years and did not see the tremendous advancement in Iranian air defence sector. Iran's air defence can with ease deal with any air force in the region.

We will have a big shift in our air superiority within the upcoming two years. I mean after developing heavy turbojet engines. At the same time Iran is able to raise the Titanium percentage in it's super alloys, also can install AESA radars due to Iran's long history of activity in the radar productions, then only two years is remaining for Iran's muscling up in the sky. If we consider SU-30 joint production in Iran is not possible And i hope so, Russia withdraws from that proposal, then Iran will get forced to develop it's home made fighters.

Hmmm... Hopefully this doesn't sound stupid (which it will) but cant Iran just halt missile production and shift to large scale air defense production. Maybe bolster the air defense units by a couple thousands installations all over the country?

Or is that just not feasible.

Jets and a modern Air Force seem like a fairy tail for Iran at this point. Gotta make up for it in some other area.

If you're going to reply to me, at least make a comment worth replying to and not some hocus pocus.
An integrated ground based air defence can easily deal with the carrier groups and their "anti-missile" techs won't do much when you have thousands of air defence points scattered across a country 4 times the size of Texas with alot of tech designed to doop anti air systems such as use of long wavelength frequency hoping system, including mobile OTH radars, the Americans will not know where most these air defence points are till its too late and by the time they find out, the mobile system would have moved, hence the term mobile. And this is not even taking into account that their so called carrier groups will be sitting ducks within the range of Iranian offensive missile capabilities.

Airforce has its good uses obviously, but to claim it will provide that much of a better form of defence than a heavily integrated ground based AD unit is folly.

well , When I had hope in our administrators , they didn't make things better ( they worsen it !! ) now days , I don't believe in them and they prove that they can't even maintain stable electricity in Iran's most richest province ....

It is already 3700 units and is growing fast to fulfill 5000 units in couple of years..
