What's new

meet major general nigar khan

Its hilarious to read about people talking about sharia law in Pakistan where lying, cheating, corruption, theft and basically every other vice is not only prevalent, but looked upon as a virtue by many. Yet, some get stuck on the 'women cant do this or that' bullshit
These people want to implement strict Sharia laws on everyone except themselves and also some hypocrites want to Sharia law only with respect to property , marriage etc but dont want its punishments

doesn't look well built as a soldier...why don't South Asian men and women look good when they hit 40-45? What is the secret of the Europeans and European Americans? regular lifting I guess keep the latter's body toned and stout

lately I have been coming across many Pakistani women married to indians and are about to get married, this gets me worried.Reminds me of "Andar ghus kay maarna"
Pakistani girls in the UK dont even spit on corny Indian guys. We are some of the most militant Muslims in the UK. Indian guys neither have crotch nor nerves to even talk to Pakistani girls.
nop. try living in Dubai you'll be shocked to see the ratio
Youre speaking Hindi. Why would anybody believe you. Pakistani guys pimp Indian girls out in the UK.

Anyway, Hazrat Aisha (R) led an army of muslims.

If you are talking about the Battle of Camel with Ali RA then, Amma Ayesha RA wasn't leading it, nor she was there to fight, she embarked on this journey as moral support to the cause of pushing Ali RA to take action against the killers of Uthman RA, if not for that battle of Camel which other battles Ayesha RA lead? mare presence of Women doesn't mean they are in lead, a similar example can be given that Women were allowed in Masjid in times of Prophet, but they weren't allowed to be Imam's or lead the Prayers.

The Prophet (S.A.W) sought and followed Hazrat Umme Salma's (R) advice on the Treaty of Hudaibia.

Again, Advice is not equal to leading an Army.

Hazrat Omar was argued against one of his rulings by a woman he had appointed to keep Madina's market in check, he withdrew.

Yes, he Appointed women as a Market inspector, but none of the Shura members from the Times of Prophet till Ali RA were Women.

After Hazrat Umar's shahadat, the committee selected by him for electing the next Khalifa consulted women on the matter as well.

Again you are conflicting taking Advice from women (who are no doubt great) with leading Armies. We take advice from our mothers, but in a conflict, we don't take our sisters or mothers to lead the fights.

Indians are quite successful people no matter where they are in the world. Plus they can fix computers. Why wouldn't woman want to marry a guy how can fix their computer lol ?

Congratulations to this lady . Please weara head scarf.
Why? If its mandatory by Law, then it is a violation. Otherwise, its a personal choice. For sure, we should encourage women to wear scarfs but its their choice.

The general dress code of Pakistan is followed by all women of Pakistan generally whether Hindu, Muslims or Christians, Nomads. They wear head cover, if not scarf.

Anyway, can't write long, not wearing is not against societal morality limit. So, bear with that.

She's a doctor who just happens to wear uniform. I don't think soldier level fitness is required in her profession.

Too many people questioning her personal decisions. She is an excellent officer and a very respectful and modest person. She and my father have served together, is a family friend. No one in the PA was more worthy than her for the post she got, I can assure it wasn’t just because she’s female. She was fit and capable in her days, army doctors are combat trained too. Now she’s a general, she needs to focus on running the entire army medical system, not her own training.

Ah what? so just because someone writes something without a single reference or narration has to be believed? Ayesha RA was there as moral support and not as a battle commander who gives orders, In Islam, women were granted specific roles in society, hence there are certain thing which they can not do, like become a Caliph or Lead the Prayer, if someone did not happen in the times of Prophet and his 4 Rightly guided caliphs, later on, whoever tries to distort religion will be answerable to Allah.

There is a wisdom behind such decision made by Allah, Imagine the battle of Camel was fought between Muslims and on the other side there was some non-Muslim Army, And Hazrat Ayesha RA was captured, Nau zubillah, Allah has said in Quran strictly that Prophet's wives are the mother of all believers and they are not supposed to be seen by non-Mehram, imagine if a Non-Muslim army capture one of the ummha tul Mumineen and disrespect them in front of the whole world, Similar incident happens when the Rebels and scums murdered Uthman RA and they refused to bury his body, then one of the Prophet's widow came to Masjid Al Nabwai and threaten the Muslims that if they did not let us bury Uthman RA than she will take off her veil/Hijab and run on the streets of Madina burying Uthman RA herself, and some Sahahab believed that if she actually did that Than Allah would've unleashed his wrath upon the city like never before.

War is always a 50/50 game, any Army can lose to the other and back in the days and even in modern times we saw what Armies do with War Prisoners, Rape and Body mutilation is not a secret, Every Army who has ever fought a war in modern times have done horrible crimes against the women, and children, that is one of the reasons Allah has to divide the roles of Both men and women, those roles that are prescribed to Men, it's best that they do their part, and those roles and duties which are prescribed by Allah to Women's its best that they do theirs, when women and men start competing in the name of equality, hey If men can be Special forces we (Women) can be, that is now how things work in Islam, yes modern Western Countries that is how Feminists and Progressives see it but things that are Part of Islamic history, Hadith, Quran can not and will not be changed.

As for the Topic, Yes it is good that one woman based on her hard work and determination achieved this position, but I doubt that GHQ will send her to the front lines in any battle against the Indians.
