Thane: Protesting against the ban on meat by the Maharastra government in view of Jain community festival Paryushan, Maharshtra Navnirman Sena took to streets and roasted chicken outside a hall in Thane where Jains had assembled for an event.

He added, “This issue is taken as "Jains against Hindu", MNS will definitely support whoever wants to sell meat, won't follow meat ban.”

The MNS chief's another salvo was - “Digambar Jains roam naked showing their body, if that is okay, then why this meat ban.”




So as long as Jains were Sanghis core vote bank, they were all dharmic.

By the BJP politics is same...While accusing congress, they were only doing politics based on cast, religion. Few days back same PDF when we were arguing against takres all were talking as if they were most patriotic. truth is their patriotism against muslims and others only for vote bank. Lalu and other congressis are far more better because their politics may be based on so called appeasement but these party just based on hatred.
How people feel disgusting about MNS in one day when they speak about Jains and BJP and not feel anything when they talk about other Biharis or Muslims?

Yes, For BJP it will increase as long as MNS try to prove that Gujaratis are also like Biharis then it will reverse.

by the way, Every riot helps BJP and congress is biggest loser. I wish congressis were really secular and acted against these goons on proper time. Instead congressis were also semi cheddis allowed them to grow all these years. Now congress neither gets Muslim vote nor gets Hindu vote.

As per reports, a mob of around 50 people, including both men and women, greeted the members of Jain community coming out of the hall with slogans.

The Jains peacefully ignored the protest and walked away from the premises covering their mouths.

MNS city Vice-President Ravi More, Mahesh Kadam, Raju Bagve, Ashish Doke, women party workers were among those present during the protest.

MNS chief Raj Thackeray had earlier hit out at the Jain community, saying they were getting emboldened because a Gujarati was the Prime Minister of India.

“Because of PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, Gujarati people, Jains are feeling emboldened,” Raj said as per ANI.

He added, “This issue is taken as "Jains against Hindu", MNS will definitely support whoever wants to sell meat, won't follow meat ban.”

MNS couple of years ago was asking for a meat ban for ekadashi but now is creating disturbance for political mileage. And no this is not a Hindu Jain issue and don't try to paint it like that.

No. That is not going to happen. Riots between Hindus and Jains are impossible. But Muslims may have a serious problem with the Jains and take this opportunity to bash them. Literally. Hoping the Hindus will stay neutral this time.
