Far superior is up for debate unless it has a third gen TI (sagem Matis), high speed French FCS (same as leclerc), solid state autoloader, full electric turret control instead of semi electric, BMS with datalink capability or better. Digital panels, thicker armour, 1300 HP engine are only known things about MBT 3000 that surpass current MBT 2000/ VT-1A, let alone AK.

The reason why MBT-2000 won the tender is due to very favorable financing options from the Chinese.

These tanks will be deployed in the North-West of BD and they will be facing Indian T-90s which they can easily handle on a one-to-one basis.

Even if the UK or US was willing to sell us there tanks, they would have been twice as expensive.
