Are drones not used to keep an eye on the area of operation?Dear.. First, it wasn't an attack on a military convoy having Toyota hiluxes.... An operation was already going on.... These terrorists opened fire first and then ran away... This then turned into a hot pursuit operation whereby the terrorists were followed.... It was a running gunfight, since our soldiers were running after them without any cover, that's why they suffered casualties... Terrorists also suffered casualties which will be confirmed shortly once all of them are rounded up... Dead or alive.
Drones are not that much in quantity as of now that we have them on top of every area where we are fighting...Are drones not used to keep an eye on the area of operation?
To act as an Intel gathering/ awareness?
I fear the damage they inflicted is much highe than the casualties we took.
@PanzerKiel @Foxtrot Alpha sir iska koi ilaj ho skta ha?Can agencies not track this guy? He seems to be TTP spokesperson posting stuff about the attacks. If Americans and British can intercept plans to attack Mumbai 8 months before it actually occurred, in the mountains of Afghanistan, why can't we build that kind of ability?
Then what about using them in IBOs specifically or for WAMI in hotspots like Ladha?Drones are not that much in quantity as of now that we have them on top of every area where we are fighting...
What about aerostat? Why are we not using them as cheap alternative to drones?Drones are not that much in quantity as of now that we have them on top of every area where we are fighting...
He might not even be in Pakistan, let alone Waziristan. Could be an Indian LARPer or an Afghan.@PanzerKiel @Foxtrot Alpha sir iska koi ilaj ho skta ha?
I have the same question as well. US Army had three of them in Baghdad, they were able to intercept every single ambush in the city. But they're vulnerable to rockets and MG fire, especially when they're brought down for repairs and refill of gas. What about aerostat? Why are we not using them as cheap alternative to drones?
FLIR equipped star sapphire C130s and Bell 412s are already in the air. What about aerostat? Why are we not using them as cheap alternative to drones?
Yeah but they're expensive to operate and not always there. Plus drones like CH-4 could do the job better than them.FLIR equipped star sapphire C130s and Bell 412s are already in the air.
Sir second question is are these sleeper cells in Waziristan or they are crossing the border and launching attacks. And if they are crossing the border then for what purpose we built the fence for ?Already doing.... You'll get the news shortly...
Border fencing has nothing to do with it.... I don't know how people deduce that such activities are always done by people who are crossing the border. We have enough of such people in our country anyway.
I gues the border is to make sure things like artillery pieces and Humvees don't wind up in the area. You'll ultimately have to wall the border, just a matter of when.Sir second question is are these sleeper cells in Waziristan or they are crossing the border and launching attacks. And if they are crossing the border then for what purpose we built the fence for ?
I'm saying that agencies should track down the source of the video. Who originally uploaded them? If we don't have the capacity, then build it. We desperately need an equivalent to National Security Agency in Pakistan. He might not even be in Pakistan, let alone Waziristan. Could be an Indian LARPer or an Afghan.
