Topic is about Manzoor pashteen. Otherwise only 2 people are against FATA reforms, not Nawaz. Achakzai for afghan reasons and Moulana for political reasons.

But his demand have nothing to do with FATA reforms which only very few people outside FATA are against. I'm not sure about check posts but I doubt 100% of them have soldiers from punjab as nationalists would like us to believe. When someone pointed that out he said all these pashtuns in army are not from us, typical afghani snake trait.

In recent suicide blast in Lahore by TTP if it wasn't for checkpost then they could have killed 100 people instead of 10. Checkposts are pain for 99.99% of people but they help prevent 0.01% of terrorists who otherwise would sneak in to blow themselves up.

He has point why there are check posts ? If it hurts local sentiments they should not be there ...Its political government duty to maintain internal security, anyhow

i condemn him if he said so, he could be on payrole of some nationalist afghan or smuggler family who knows..my point was the point of is that there are issues and shouldnt be swept under the rug

Yes there are issues but Pashteen are not rising these issues. He isn't talking about FATA reforms. His demands are not realistic. There cannot be compromise on check posts, afghani refugees deportation, cancelling CNIC, border fence etc His blame game against army isn't helping either.

Solution is FATA merger or new province. Army going to border and FATA police on check posts. After border fence is completed then afghani refugees going back. No more afghan jihad even if Kabul sleep with Delhi like a prostitute. All this could take few years though depending on when FATA reforms are approved.

There is no logic in blaming ISI/army for terrorist attacks and APS, that just stretching even if someone hate army. Believing in conspiracy theories is common in Pakistan.

I haven't heard anyone blaming ISI/army for APS attack but there were many attack carried out in the effected region in which Army was more suspicious than TTP, even in one target killing in swat, the sniffer dogs entered an army checkpost, here I am not saying they passed through it, sniffer dogs entered into the bankers/barracks.

According to Manzoor ,PTM it is army who has killed and massacred APS kids...His movement was initially focused and right for justice of Naqeeb until hijacked by PKMAP and ANP..I supported his islamabad protest but now in his gathering the slogans are "Lawr or Bar", "Dhashatgardi k peechay wardi" while the subject is lost somewhere..1400 sa zaid qabaili women are missing ..I don't know who is feeding him with all this

Check posts are everywhere in cities, do I need to remind you about recent Lahore blast by TTP in police check post. They prevent terrorists to reach their target.

yes check posts are everywhere, but these check posts are not like the ones we are talking about here.
Manzoor Pashteen will be more than happy if you place check posts like that instead of the army check posts there

Pashteen is blaming army for APS and terrorist attacks along with his supporters in jalsas. I don't know in what way army was involved in some target killings. You mean some lone wolf in army was pro TTP because of ideological reason? Possible, it toke years for army to get rid of Zia ideology from its ranks.

100% agree..except it should take this much time for reforms(already 10 years)

There is no police in Waziristan and it was battle ground for TTP. It cannot be compared with other areas. But eventually army will have to go back to border and that's why FATA reforms are needed. After that police can control check posts.

There is no local government in FATA. That will happen once FATA reforms are approved.
