Many Afghans See Their Future with India, Not Pakistan

.
You tell me how we are interfering with their sovereignty.
It isn't about how you interfere or not. It is about how your neighbors feel. By the way, I don't know how your neighbors feel. :)

done what exactly ? today Pakistan's position is insisting on 'peace' talks with the Afghan taliban while being at war with the TTP themselves, talk about being duplicitous. :disagree:

Afghans want democracy and rule of law, not mullah terror, hardly surprising then, that they view India favorably.
I suggest you educate yourself on regional politics, can you even point towards Afghanistan and Pakistan on the map??
There is no need to drag Pakistan into this......

. .
Just FYI- India has trained a few thousand Afghan security personnel over the last few years- in 2014, the number of Afghan soldiers trained in India were 1100.
While only, six cadets of the Afghan National Army are in Islamabad to join the Pakistan Military Academy in Abbottabad for an 18-month long course in 2015.
Also, Indian education has a huge reputation in Afghanistan.

Afghan students flock to India's universities - Al Jazeera English
And yet it is funny, India is not on the list of Parties involved in Peace process, that decides fate of entire region.....
China, US,Pakistan and Afghanistan are the parties to this process only.......didn't you get the Memo??

.
Screw the kinship. I want a stable and prosperous Pakistan. Not one where Afghan based terrorists have the freedom to move around the border and kill our children in schools or our army officers protecting our land from harms way. We don't have anything in common with Afghans and frankly we don't want them on our soil.

There is no other solution than closing the border and expelling Afghans from Pakistan. Let the Afghans go to India since they love them that much. Why even bother coming to a place that the Afghans despise so much in the first place. These people are hypocrites of the first order.
It would be prudent to bear in mind kinship ties. I think there needs to more education regarding the benefits of heightened border checks in the FATA region, so the local tribesmen understand that it is not about cutting ties but having more security as Afghan based terrorists groups use the porous border freely. This would be beneficial to all concerned.

I suggest you not respond so aggressively when it wasn't you I quoted in the first place, but now that you have, want to answer to the points I had raised originally ?

  1. " Pakistan's position is insisting on 'peace' talks with the Afghan taliban while being at war with the TTP themselves.. .duplicitous.
  2. "Afghans want democracy and rule of law, not mullah terror"
we remember IC-814, Indian concerns are genuine, but what is it with Pakistan's love affair with the Taliban animals ?

You can find similar poll which is little bit older from this site
BBC Poll: Attitudes towards Countries

screen shot

View attachment 283113

This poll is from 05-06. So almost ten year out of date.
And there's no mention of Pakistan, so it doesn't relate to the topic here and is thus irrelevant.
The best I can think of this whole drama thread here is that, we have an Afghan student sitting in an Indian university who is feeling a bit depressed and decides he needs to show some gratitude to his hosts and writes a blog.
That blog entry is then picked up and is posted here on PDF, and woolah it becomes a pissing contest between Indians and Pakistanis.
So what else is new..............

Afghanistan never even share a single border with India. India influence will be very limited. It is very easy for Pakistan to cut off India support of Afghanistan.

India's support is within our hearts and minds no border is needed nor it could be cut off in any sense, only if India starts the demon role in Afghanistan.

That means Afghanistan has no choice whatsoever but to pick from the same " list" of parties involved. Fate of the region is determined by that puny list of countries-
Anyways, i'd like to read more on that self proclaimed hypothetical "list" of parties involved in your so called "peace" process. Could you link it somewhere? Arranging talks with self made mercenaries contributes to peace process......
Its ok, happens when you dont learn to smell the coffee.

Sire,
You forget the fact that only those countries which are not already involved in peace process need to be a party to such a framework. Lolzz
Incase you didn't know the members of the "quadrilateral" framework for peace process was decided by Pakistan and Afghanistan.

.
It is a perception always created by India. Mostly among Pakistanis to see their own afghan brothers as enemy..
Request all Pakistani brothers not to fall in these false trap..
The govt. of Afghanistan doesn't represent whole Afghanistan.. they merely represent only 20%...
rest is always on Pakistan side...

yes this is what Pakistanis think -- perhaps listen to @Sher Malang -- it might help clear any misconceptions

First of all this is not a report from a proper news outlet.
It's a copy paste job from somebody's blog. This is how they are described.

Global Voices is an international network of bloggers, translators, and citizen journalists that follow, report, and summarize what is going on in the blogosphere.

And the author is this guy here.

The poll which he quotes is unavailable, so I have my doubts regarding that.
We need to find out what was the question of this poll, where was it conducted, the geographic spread etc. To have any idea what kind of attitudes we are talking about.

All in all a very poor report based on some unavailable polling data. By a student blogger residing in New Delhi.

You have a good point -- What I think I should have meant was either publish the results of the survey this guy talks about OR even conduct an independent scientific survey and report on its results.

. .
Our govt will do what ever they need to do for our national interest and we entire Indians support them .
A Pakistanis or any other foreigners concern is not subject for us .:D

If you are ready to lick your own vomit then don't act like smart arses... Because by the end of the day.. You know your worth.
