The Pakistani Taliban are not a political reality in Pakistan even with foreign support. If foreign help to them was curtailed they would fade away. However the Afghan Taliban ARE a political reality and even if foreign support was curtailed they would still be a political reality in Afghanistan. There is a difference. Why only Afganistan, after all they are not the only neighbour Pakistan has, stop feeling insecure.
If Pakistanies belive you can take on India which is much bigger in every sence, but scared of Afganistan which is strugling to stand on its feet.
On one hand you want the Afgans to talk to taliban but at the same time Pakistan wont talk to Pakistan taliban.
And Afgans see that.
You need to learn a lot kidoo before drawing your assumptions here. We deal with Afghanis on daily basis even in our capital city. Those who managed to get a nationality here in love being part of Pakistani community. Due to historical reasons Afghanistan has never acknowledged Durand line till date...that's simply the core reason...a new born nation since 1947 was never in a position for decades to challenge Afghanistan...These Afghanis even malign Pakistan for Russian invasion, since that's their trademark impotency to accept their own responsibility...!! We faced consequences already...now it's your turn fellows. They never liked Pakistan since 1947. Their dislike predates Pakistani interference into Afghanistan during the Soviet times and after.
It was Afghanistan who drew first blood by attempting destabilisation in the early years of Pakistan.
Its the sacrifices and exceptional bravery of Afghans, which defeated Soviets and in a way , unintentionally protected Pakistan of warm water from having Russian fathersMost of these ungrateful afghans would be speaking russian and would have russian fathers if it weren't for us and at that time afghans supported CIA and pakistan in gettign rid of soviets
So with that bravery why cant you protect yourself now?Its the sacrifices and exceptional bravery of Afghans, which defeated Soviets and in a way , unintentionally protected Pakistan of warm water from having Russian fathers
I am sorry. I do not understand. Did I write something incorrect? You need to learn a lot kidoo before drawing your assumptions here. We deal with Afghanis on daily basis even in our capital city. Those who managed to get a nationality here in love being part of Pakistani community....
It's funny and ironic at the same time. These Afghans see their future with India, yet keep opting for Pakistan as their favorite mass refugee destination. Something is very wrong here.
The way I see it, repatriate them all and close the border. Don't allow them any space in our territory. The TAPI project is a waste of time.
As for the Afghans who think their future lies with India, stop coming to our country and instead fly over to India.
As i have mentioned before, you have to dig deep down before brushing ever thing with a single paint here..hope you get my point. .I am sorry. I do not understand. Did I write something incorrect?
.
Afghanistan never even share a single border with India. India influence will be very limited. It is very easy for Pakistan to cut off India support of Afghanistan.
I am sorry. I do not understand. Did I write something incorrect?
I also have written the same about closing the border. however I have been informed on defence.pk that in FATA the people have kinship links across the border and it would be very difficult to close the border, at least there. Also the Afghan government does not want to do this from their side as that would make it difficult for Afghan based "useful idiot" terrorists to attack Pakistan.
Afghanistan is at the bottom of HDI ladder. They are making baby steps in rebuilding their institutions and their country.
By isolating Afghanistan you will only draw more bad blood. Instead Pakistan should allow Afghanistan to grow into an equal nation. You can only do that by respecting their sovereignty.
The Taliban aren't a terrorist group? Are you for real? For God's sake, they have been responsible for the killing of over 3000 NATO soldiers - by suicide bombers, roadside IEDs, ambushes, the murder of civil liberties and so on!Pakistan has done more than enough its afghanistan which has now to do more, better to do it before some one else that enough is enough.Afghan taliban is not a terrorist group like TTP or ISIS they are political reality of afghanistan
Screw the kinship. I want a stable and prosperous Pakistan. Not one where Afghan based terrorists have the freedom to move around the border and kill our children in schools or our army officers. There is no other solution than closing the border and expelling Afghans from Pakistan. Let the Afghans go to India since they love them that much. Why even bother coming to a place that the Afghans despise so much in the first place.
Taliban Are Not Terrorists, or So Says the White House - ABC NewsThe Taliban aren't a terrorist group? Are you for real? For God's sake, they have been responsible for the killing of over 3000 NATO soldiers - by suicide bombers, roadside IEDs, ambushes, the murder of civil liberties and so on!
The Afghans hate and detest them and they know that without the active support of Pakistan, the Taliban would have been destroyed long ago. And that's why they hate anything to do with Pakistan as they see them responsible for the murder of thousands of Afghans including innocent men women and children and buggering up their way of life.
