yeah that's irrigation though to help your plants grow. this is clearly vegetables already harvested and being cleaned to sell at the market.


it's like when you buy vegetables from the grocery you still clean them with tap water before cooking them so there is no dirt or what not left on them

I am pretty sure that people wash all vegetables themselves once again before cooking them. What is more worrying is the heavy metal contamination which occurs with the use of sewage for irrigation. There is no avoiding that unfortunate contamination, which is quite widespread.

I am never going to eat vegies again. This is nothing in Pakistan i once saw a Milk Man adding river water in Milk. When i asked him this is disgusting then he said its ok people dont become sick anymore bcz it has become their regular diet. Every since i never turned to open milk every time in Pakistan and always use packed products. Sometimes when milk becomes bad in hot weather they use some industrial chemicals to get it back in shape along with some dry milk powder from china.

Man its happen in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh everywhere in Asia..
Don't forget our doodhwalas deliberately adds water from open canals in milk, once caught red handed and asked why they do this they can add tap water which is easily available he replied they add canals water because it is as thick as milk people can't judge by thickness. You know that open canals how much dirty.

Yes this was washed in contaminated water , but then i doubt any there is any one in India who buys vegetables and does not wash them thoroughly before using them .
