If you think it is whining if you stand up for injustice and show your displeasure then you are wrong. We have every right to convey that message when our interests are not addressed. We have given them $100 million in grants and have invested heavily in their infrastructure projects. We even transported the drinking water when they had drinking water crises recently because of their desalination plant failure. You can understand how fragile their country is? Yet they showed middle finger on us for their political scoring. It is always risky to invest in foreign countries who don't adhere to international laws and obligations. Lets hope for sanity to prevail and Maldives will honour its commitments.

BD falls in different basket case of feuding begums and their insecurities. I don't want to bring BD here and derail this thread.
