Maldives cuts diplomatic ties with Iran

same could be said americans selling out for few dollars. trust me saudi are conspiracy. today if you want to live by true islam then you are required to sacrifice and move far away near mountain or some forrest were you can practice true shariah and halal currency. you gotta learn farming etc not easy life. its for tough strong people.

Of course saudi are a conspiracy foisted upon the region by the British. Do you think it's a coincidence that you have a hitherto unknown country of Kuweit, drawn up in the sand, bottling up a much bigger country's access to international waters? But it's unreasonable to expect the British do things according to our best interests. So the more important question is where were we! Where is our responsibility in all of this? How did we allow this to happen? And how can we rectify it?

I think if all the iranian take a leak together, maldives might actually submerge

What next, Comores cuts diplomatic ties with Iran?
Pathetic guys. Keep rejoicing over the news

You are giving them too much credit bro... These were essentiallly highway robbers and brigands without much culture and civilization who were given a state by the British. You need to understand and keep that in mind about them. What do you expect would happen? It's the intellectual and moral failure of other muslims who follow these people and who sell themselves to their dollars, that gives these people the power to wreak havoc around the world. Otherwise, they would just be another archaic society to be studied by anthropologists as a window to how primtive man lived.
The first Saudi state (i.e. the Emirate of Diriyah) was established in the 1740s and lasted until the early 1800s -- long before the arrival of the British to the Middle East.

The second Saudi state (i.e. the Emirate of Nejd) was established in the 1820s and lasted until the late 1800s. Once again, it existed long before the arrival of the British to the wider region.

The British Empire no doubt supported the establishment of the third Saudi state (i.e. the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) in the 1920s as a counterbalance against the Ottoman-aligned Emirate of Jabal Shammar. Having said that, your account of Saudi Arabia's history was nothing short of intellectual laziness.

At least try harder next time lol.

Historical documents show that Kuwait actually came to existence long before Iraq. Furthermore, if you knew anything about the history of Kuwait, you would know that the British refused to recognize, let alone support, the country until the Uqair Protocol of 1922 -- exactly three years after the Kuwait-Najd War.

You Iranians, of all people, should be grateful for Britain and the other Western powers. If it weren't for them, the Arab Emirate of Ahwaz, the Kurdish Republic of Mahabad and the People's Republic of Azerbaijan would have all existed today, not to mention the fact that Oman would have still ruled over several coastal areas in southern Iran.

Plus, no one gives a crap about kingdom of Najd/Saudia and your writings are blabberings...
What I said was true, and you know it.

The British and, later, the Americans protected Iran from fragmentation. They gave Reza Shah the green light to annex the Emirate of Ahwaz, and they turned a blind eye to Iran's annexation of the Emirati islands. They also did everything in their power to prevent the Russians from carving Kurdish and Azeri states out of northwestern Iran.

You should be grateful to them.

And, by the way, I don't know what you're trying to prove by posting maps of historical Iranian states. There was a time when Iran was a tiny province of a very huge Mongol Empire. How is that relevant to what I said?

hehehe maldives only good for take goal in football IRAN 17 MALDIVIA 0 ONLY TO PUT SHIT IN FOOTBALL GRAND

Of course Maldives will side with Arabs due to historical, linguistic, religious and cultural reasons.

The people of Maldives are Sunni Muslims like the vast majority of Arabs, Arabs have traded with this part of the world since time immortal, the Maldivian language is heavily influenced by Arabic (more than any other foreign language), their alphabet is a mixture of the Arabic and indigenous one, many people from the Maldives work and live in Arab countries and Arabs are some if not the largest investors in Maldives.

Nobody needs to "pay" for anything just use their brains for once.

Anyway this is just another message to the Iranian Mullah's. A few months ago a coalition of almost 40 Muslim countries gave the same indirect message. I guess it's better to have ties with North Korea as the Iranian Mullah's pride themselves on, lol. Good going.:enjoy:

Anyway a visit to Maldives would not be a bad thing before those islands and atolls disappear.

What does people of Maldives being sunni have to do with anything? Going by your logic, I being sunni should be backing S.A just because they are a sunni country? Maldives is just looking for money to save itself and S.A was the highest bidder.
