Malaysian PM Muhyiddin resigns as political crisis escalates
By Mei Mei Chu and Rozanna Latiff, Liz Lee

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 16 (Reuters) - Malaysia's Muhyiddin Yassin stepped down as prime minister on Monday after months of political turmoil culminated in the loss of his majority, but his resignation is likely to open another chapter of instability in the absence of any obvious successor.

looks like it's going to be a revolving door of PMs going forward. This is going to be a big drag on Malaysian GDP.

Doesn't work that way in Malaysia. Instead its a bunch factions vying for power to get whatever left on the table. Its became too big, nobody is having enough, so they split and fight each other.

And who is fighting whom exactly?

Old vs new ones. New one comes, cancels previous admin projects. And of course as time goes by, it becomes harder and harder to support growing legion of government dependents. Especially this pandemic, many are desperate.

Malays today are hopeless race.

In the past, the left wing Malays advocated taxing the rich, to help the poor -- regardless of race and religion. But most Malays are too selfish. They just want to rob everyone and transfer the wealth to themselves only.

Eventually Malays plundered Chinese wealth and handed everything to Malay elites while poor Malays get very little. Meanwhile ethnic Indians sink further into gangsterism. Indians are poorer than Malays.

Saddam Hussein is far far better to minorities than Malays.

Malay today is a wicked race.

1. Malary is not a race...

2. Chinese do worse things to their minorities than the Malay ever have.....if you want to start a measuring contest...

Let's not bad mouth specific races or ethnicities.

Every ethnicity has good/bad people.

Overwhelmingly the Malays supported racial discrimination -- not just one or two crackpot. I guess Taliban today is an even more modernized and advance race in this aspect. On the legalistic level, I have yet to see Taliban calling to enact policies against Tajik or Hazara.

In the past, there are still some socialist Malays saying the country should tax rich help poor -- regardless or race and religion. Today most Malays are supporting shtting on other race, and looting wealth, giving it to Malays.

Malays are hopeless.

It is what happens when there is a uneven economic balance. Majority will never have minorities controlling the economy of the country. Idi Amin of Uganda drove off India out of Uganda. Hopefully Malays don't do that to Chinese. You just have to leave the country to their vices.

Ya it's a negative feedback loop. Political infighting brings desperate times, desperate times breeds more political infighting. I just hope they don't go down the fascist route and start shifting all blame toward minorities.
