According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, majority Pakistanis (65%) oppose airing of Indian content on Pakistani media channels.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Some people are in favour of airing Indian channels and dramas, while others oppose. Personally, do you favour or oppose airing of Indian content?” In response to this question, 24% favour airing of Indian content whereas 65% oppose for the same. 11% did not know or did not wish to respond.

This above supports my personal observations for over the past 5-10 years that bollywood and all other things indian are becoming less and less popular in Pakistan as compared to the 1980s and 1990s. Even more so in light of the fact that Pakistani culture and the awareness of our sense of self and culture is becoming more stronger and apparent. Which in itself is fundamentally completely different to indian culture and heritage.

Pakistanis are way better than the bikaao foreign funded traitor Pak media or the senile politicians. The greedy RAW agents or cinemaowners were wishing to revive their collections with rapistani films but Pak public did'nt even respond, both indian films are not gettting any audience. Raees film release is being now relied on, but there is a Pak film(Balu Mahi) release on Feb. 10 which could be affected. Pak film is directed by Haissam Hussain, he directed drama classics like dastaan (2010). These RAW agent/cinemaowners in the past removed Pakistani film screenings to give more screens to indian crap, thus Pak film lost revenue. Request everyone not to watch any rapistani film in cinema. Pemra TV ban on indian content is continuing nicely, hope Pakistanis continue to screw the rapistani films

Everybody who disagrees with the silly nationalistic propaganda of the jingoists is a RAW agent by default.

By the way, I am starting to have great respect for the efficiency and competency of RAW since they have infiltrated everywhere, from the PM house to the cinema houses. Imagine that 35% of the population are RAW agents!!!!!!!

Indian banned our content first way back in 2008 but dayr aye durust aye and many countries have protectionist measures for foreign content in their countries
China,Canada and France have strict protectionist policies for foreign content on their radio and tv channels
The ban on Indian content on Pakistani channels has helped Pakistani entertainment industry now channels that used to air Indian content are forced to air and create more content which has helped our local artists and is helping our industry grow
