That's not true actually. The UNSC sanctions are less comprehensive than the American and EU sanctions. Iran getting kicked out of SWIFT, for example, did way more damage to Iran than any UNSC sanction. Most of the security council sanctions deal with weapons and the nuclear program and have little to do with the economy.

American and European companies aren't allowed to do business with Iran. It's up to the EU and the US government to lift those restrictions. UN sanctions are unrelated (they mostly cover military issues and the nuclear program).

Dude the talks that are now taking place is about lifting ALL sanctions on Iran... thats why some US senators are butthurt because most of the sanctions by the US is because of Irans support for Hamas, Hezbollah. But the latter seems no issue if Iran shows enough flexibility in the talks.

Iranian and AMerican officials said it many times but i am still not sure if ALL sanctions are going to get lifted.

If it was up to the Europeans, the deal would already have been signed, the main obstacle remains the US which is countering the Usraeli lobby at this stage, it must have seen something good in the deal.

for example : exporting weapon systems & launching satellites for other countries ( when decent SLVs get ready )
