Please go ahead and review what the terms of the negotiations are. Sanction relief is what's being discussed. Not removal and certainly not blanket removal.

1) The 4 rounds of UNSC sanctions aren't being discussed as far as I know. The security council has to remove those, not Obama.

2) The EU and American led sanctions are here to stay for the most part, but gradual relief is what's being discussed. There are still sanctions on Russia from the Soviet Union era.

Zarif and Rohani says ALL sanctions are going to get removed if a deal is reached. That also includes US,EU one sided sanctions. If that goes coupled with UNSC lifting of all sanctions (which Zarif and Rohani talk about) then there is nothing in the way for Iran to buy latest jets,military,civil hardware.

Zarif and akhood rohani can say whatever they want, but those are only half truths. Yes, eventually all sanctions, even the UNSC sanctions, can be removed. But for that to happen, a lot of things need to go right. For starters, anything that gets signed right now is non binding as far as the UNSC is concerned. They can turn it into a binding agreement later on if all permanent members agree, but that's all in the future. For now you'll be dealing with the EU and the American government. If a Republican president comes to power 2 years from now, all progress could stop and even get reversed. The Republicans already control both the Senate and the Congress. If they get the presidential seat than wtf do you think they're gonna do?

Question that remains: is Iran smart enough to close the deal in the next 2 years while the democrats are still in power? That remains to be seen. Also, will they do it fast enough to allow these non binding agreements to become law in the US and the EU and eventually get passed by the UNSC? That also remains to be seen.
