damn communist US, stop standing in the way of free market, leave it to the commies to ruin the party.
There were two rounds of UN sanctions as well which limited sell of dual use equipment to Iran. Are there UN sanctions? I thought there was just US, Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea.
Will this allow Iran to buy the newest Boeings and Airbus ?Very good development, very good news indeed, showing that the negotiations are in a very advanced stage.
The UN sanctions were the heaviest burden on Iran, by lifting these the whole world market will be open to trade with Iran irrespective of individual nations (unlikely) sanctions.
I thought there were 4. I'm pretty sure there are 4 rounds of UNSC sanctions, not 2.There were two rounds of UN sanctions as well which limited sell of dual use equipment to Iran.
That's not true actually. The UNSC sanctions are less comprehensive than the American and EU sanctions. Iran getting kicked out of SWIFT, for example, did way more damage to Iran than any UNSC sanction. Most of the security council sanctions deal with weapons and the nuclear program and have little to do with the economy.Very good development, very good news indeed, showing that the negotiations are in a very advanced stage.

American and European companies aren't allowed to do business with Iran. It's up to the EU and the US government to lift those restrictions. UN sanctions are unrelated (they mostly cover military issues and the nuclear program). Will this allow Iran to buy the newest Boeings and Airbus ?

If the sanctions are lifted at once yes of course. 'cause not only Iran who will benefit, the two major companies will benefit too along with their countries. Will this allow Iran to buy the newest Boeings and Airbus ?
Please go ahead and review what the terms of the negotiations are. Sanction relief is what's being discussed. Not removal and certainly not blanket removal.Dude the talks that are now taking place is about lifting ALL sanctions on Iran... thats why some US senators are butthurt because most of the sanctions by the US is because of Irans support for Hamas, Hezbollah. But the latter seems no issue if Iran shows enough flexibility in the talks.
Iranian and AMerican officials said it many times but i am still not sure if ALL sanctions are going to get lifted.
Typical 3rd worlder peasant comment. All these sanctions are because of israeli morons.

1) The 4 rounds of UNSC sanctions aren't being discussed as far as I know. The security council has to remove those, not Obama.
2) The EU and American led sanctions are here to stay for the most part, but gradual relief is what's being discussed. There are still sanctions on Russia from the Soviet Union era.
