It's India's interests to have a cooperative relationship with the Eurasian states including Russia, China, Pakistan, Iran, etc. Otherwise it will be completely isolated and contained in its own neighborhood. That is why joining the Quad and squarely joining the Western camp for India is literal suicide.

I see India soon re-aligning itself again to take a more neutral stance and moving towards more cooperation and integration with Eurasia.

Without growing prospects, the best entrepreneurs and brightest minds of India will pick up the pace to emigrate to seek those greener pastures, as they have been doing last few years.
