By this attack TTP tried to reflect the false impression that GOP is in a weak position to start negotiations. And we(TTP) can strike wherever, whenever by targeting such a senior most military officers. I am sad on loss of both Sir both the tribals you call them TTP they are basically from different tribes and Pakistan Army we made the blunder when we entered Tribal areas to please USA Musarraf was the biggest traitor Pakistan ever had

I find it surprising that there are Pakistanis here who are trying to justify (not very openly though) this attack on PA. I always thought PA was supreme in the headset of an average Pakistani. Looks like TTP is slowly making that space for itself with some Pakistanis.. If I was a Pakistani, I would be very scared of this development
