1) Pakistan Navy needs to replace Tariq Class...Still nothing has metallised as suitable replacement.No doubt the navy, apart from submarines, a decent surface fleet is necessary our submarines will get us so far.
Navy should procure existing platforms like the F-22Ps, and pay money for re-fitted OHPs, this would allow numerical increase in the surface fleet, whilst reducing chances of financial burden and cost over-runs in developing infrastructure and logistics for an entirely new platform.
2) USA only provided 1 OHP hence that is being used as a training ship.
3) F22P's are going to be increased to 8 ships by 2025.
4) The 8 Chinese Subs would be here by 2025.
PN has to decide if she wishes to increase the surface fleet at a fast pace then it has to procure used platforms. Some available on the market have been highlighted many times on PDF threads.
