What's new

Major breakthrough on naval reactor + propulsion system

Why is that ? do you think we started the project today ? Unlike india we don't boas of the smallest things before even startin the project .. Look at the recent examples:

Pakistan interested in 90+ SH-1 howitzers. - 2012!

Pak took delivery of 36 SH-1's -2015 SIPRI.

Pak has A-100 MLRS - rumours on Internet.

A-100 seen at a military ex in 2013. (Shock).

HIT might work on a new arty gun 2012- news.

Pakistan stops production of Panter guns at 90+.. Cooperating with Turkey to develop an advanced light variant of panter- SIPRI 2015.

Pak working on "Burraq" UCAV -- 2012? Internet rumours - no confirmed sources - unnamed official.

Pak tests Burraq publically ( 1 sqd already in service).

Pak looking for 5-6 subs.

Pak approves 8 subs,4 improved F-22ps and 6 ATR (Meltam combat system).

..

So how do you evwn know that it will take 10 years when we have been hearing about it since 2006 .. With a Naval Strategic Command established in 2014? I would've surprised if we have it in service in 2017 or 18 .. or at max by 2020.

Just wait and watch. More I cannot say, I gave you enough reasons, but it is not my duty to make you agree. And I even doubt if you would ever have a nuclear submarine. You might have a submarine capable of launching a nuclear missile.

.
If the submarine have to surface for communicating, like old ways, then whats the use of Nuclear propelled submarine.

It suppressing the very logic on which nuclear submarine are based.

Its called How to make a nuclear sub in one day?
Have you ever heard of communication buoys?

Surprised? Seriously?

Seems like, nuclear submarine are some cake walk. BTW, what happen to Shaheen SLV which I hearing since 2000?

So, you saying "your" nuclear submarine depend on communication buoys. Great.

. .
it's by detecting the source from where it is generated ;)
So if that is your hope of detecting a submarine then rest in peace bro bcz nuclear or not uptill now no submarine has ability so transmit in ELF.

well i read your post again and if you think that a submarine has to surface every time to communicate in VLF then.......

for the last time... a submarine remains deep and raises its vlf antenna close to the surface shallow enough to communicate.

Whatever floats your boat homes.

S3 is India's upcoming nuclear submarine INS Aridaman's code name. It will carry 3500 km range K4 SLBM. Any thing wrong?
Why don't you bark about that in your thread not in a thread that has nothing to do with that.. Insecure lil chap.
