Mahindra Reva reveals the Halo electric sports car

The Halo will be powered by an electric motor developing approximately 140bhp. The high capacity battery which basically runs the show can power the Halo from 0-100km/h in less than 7 seconds while the top-speed is claimed to be in excess of 200km/h.

The Halo will go up on sale in 2015-16 and will be sold both in India and in international markets.

Awesome,looks super :cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

Any Indian company is working on Hybrid cars???

. . .
Mahnidra is doing extremely well, being an Indian company they are maintaining high quality with attention to minute details, something Tata failed to achieve so far.

. .
pretty impressive looking beast I must say - Any cost details available?

. .
The thing with luxury vehicles is that, brand matters. Nobody is going to buy this I'm afraid :(

.
Well now its safe to say Indian automobile industry has come of age and a level of maturity has been achieved.

. . . .
Mm, perhaps if I could test drive it, there was a good warranty period and the price was right.

I think Mahindra too know their limitations and the consumer perception associated with the brand. Safe to say Luxury cars will not be part of their portfolio any time soon. Sports Cars, though, may indeed roll out, and at a reasonable price.

Do you think there's a market for it in India? :/
