What's new

India's first electric car may be exported to China

V-6 already hurts me on gas.

I like to live a little bit, but I am not wasteful.

What do you run around in a hummer all day charging gas on mommy daddy's credit card?

Is it Camry or other model?

no sense of humor?

well kiddo... I make enough to pay my bills and some more...

Well, I don't know why you are hating on toyota camry. It's a good car. I was thinking about bmw, but I realized that compared to camry maintenance is way more costly.

I am not car savvy guy, but I can change oil.

For camry, all I have to do is change the oil. I only replaced my tires twice, and the car is running great.

Dude relax... no one is hating on a camry... it was a joke ..jeez!

I also like Impalas. But they require a lot of maintenance.

What car you got?

Wow nice.

I am not that rich yet.

Not that I can't buy any of those cars, but I have a lot of other people to think about before spoiling myself.

You seem strictly beamer guy, what do you think about Audi?

Any series you are interested in and why?

My wife always had a beamer... she got me into it.. I drove a nissan xterra very happily, I found a freakishly good deal on a 5 series and bought it. and was about to sell the nissan, but then I moved to colorado and this is 4wd heaven hence kept both the cars...

Imo people who drive audi swear by it, so it must be good, never drove one, so cant tell you anything about it. Although when we were buying a car for sister in law, we opted out of Audi's because of reputation of high service costs.

Here in Shanghai the subsidies for an electric car are well over 200。000 yuan, including a free number plate which commands a market price of some 100,000 at the monthly held auction.

Even with this amount of incentives, there are only a few takers because of general suspicion towards e-cars and lack of infrastructure for battery recharging etc.

Indian companies will have a hard time selling their e-vs in the Chinese market.

It could get popular in Europe. I dont know if other places are big on electric.

I'm surprised some people in Europe bought the original REVA city car....

Test drive

It's a big improvement over the original.
