Maggi noodles violated safety norms, no compromise on the issue, Union health minister JP Nadda says

Haha in BD health concern 90% BDs cant even afford a Maggie so why don't you take a hike Bangladeshi
Yeah, you have more people under the poverty line then the population of Bangladesh. Sure, we can't afford Maggi.

. .
Is this some kind of propaganda to extort money from the MNCs?
Because last time i checked, the basic air quality in India was equally cancerous......so was drinking the filthy water from the rivers. Or the industrial waste that gets dumped into the sea.

You saw right through it.

This is how the $500M or whatever the figure was to destroy your economic corridor is going to be sponsored. :sarcastic:

Please, our environmental minister said that dolphins aren't real, so, something like that isn't far-fetched.
Take him/her out into Bay of Bengal he will see for himself if they are real or not.

Ya I caught bits of that conference. India is a big market, so its logical what he is trying to do. The dude is just doing his best to minimize the damage to his company and he make any argument, no matter how silly it would seem.

From what I gather, their stock tumbled 20% as of yesterday and they stand to lose the 60% market share they enjoyed in India. Any idea, what percentage India formed of their global sales? I believe that India is the largest market for Maggi.

Either way, we need to make it clear that you don't get away with this sh*t in India, even if you did earlier.
Bharat with a population of 1.2 Billion is a huge market. Any impact will see a rapid loss in their shares. When almost 7 states in Bharat banned Maggi Along with Indian Army. Singapore,Nepal took a cue and Banned Maggi too.
So the impact is not just in Bharat, but entire South east Asia and East Asia. I don't need to tell you 3/4th of Humanity lives in South East Asia and East Asia. So think about its impact.
Nestle will literally lose this huge market.

No MNC cannot put our citizens at risk, they have different standards for West and Developing countries.Who they think will Consume every crap them dump in our markets as food.
This would serve as a warning to other MNC's and even our Domestic Companies, that the rules are strict now and that "Chalta Hai" attitude won't be entertained now.

So asking Nestle for the same standards in Bharat as they provide in USA is extorting money from them or some Propaganda?
Basic Air quality is bad in even China too, but that doesn't mean their Government gives a free pass to Companies to put their citizens at risk.
You know the case of Baby milk formula producing kidney stones in newborn in China some years ago.

Plenty of MNC in India so plenty of money. No reason to worry. Depending on how well this goes, we might bump up that 500M to a cool billion. :enjoy:

ok offtopic but Pakistan ki reality sun lo, I have a fresh juicy story about them

I just got back from a family dinner, aunt (masi) and cousins etc, and my masi has good friends in Pakistan, the topic at the dinner table turned to Pakistan and the weddings happening there among family of her friends... and damn, turns out, fuckin' everyone she knows there were getting their kids married to their first cousins !!

she recalled asking a young bride in Pakistan how she felt about 'when your masi suddenly becomes your mum in law', "does she stay your masi or does she become more mom in law ?"

bride answered "yeah, they become more mothers in law after marriage"

next question "but all of you kids grew up playing kiddy games as a family and are brought up as 'brother' and 'sister', isn't it weird when you're asked to get married?" (she knows this family for a long time, seen the kids grow up)

reply : "that's just how it is for everyone here"

mind you, none of this was in a bad bitchy vibe way.. my aunt is great friends with those guys... all of us first cousins at the table were looking at each other and going.. ewwwww :bad:

and here's the kicker... main reason they do it like that is to keep the property in the family :woot:

lol, they're a nation of inbreds, even the rich "sophisticated" ones :omghaha:
