ÇAKIR can be launched from fixed and rotary-wing aircraft, Assault Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (AUAVs)/UCAVs, AUSVs, tactical wheeled vehicles and naval platforms, and offers operational versatility against land and surface targets. With a range of over 150 kilometers, ÇAKIR's targets include surface targets, land and surface targets close to shore, strategic land targets, field targets and, caves.

ÇAKIR easily performs tasks involving 3D waypoints defined during mission planning. With a unique warhead and hit point selection feature, the Cruise Missile offers a high destructive force against enemy targets. ÇAKIR owes the ability to engage targets with high precision under all weather conditions to its advanced mid-phase and terminal phase guidance systems. Network-based datalink facilitates Man-in-the-Loop capability for target update, attack/re-attack for the in-flight target of opportunity and mission abort. The most prominent features of ÇAKIR are; its design, which allows the platform to carry multiple payloads up to four missiles, and its ability to perform swarm concept missions with inter-communicating missiles. The swarm concept, through which coordinated attack scenarios with multiple missiles are enabled, can be used to overcome hostile defence systems, and ensures high effectivity against single or multiple targets. ÇAKIR offers high survivability thanks to its unique design with radar absorbing material utilized on the frame. ÇAKIR’s ability for super sea-skimming and terrain masking in combination with radar-absorbing structure minimizes the detectability by enemy air-defence systems. Thanks to its Antijam GNSS and altimeter-supported inertial navigation system, ÇAKIR continues on its trajectory even in the event of intense electronic jamming.

I read in numerous sources (Arabic, Chinese as well as English) that KSA is capable of developing/manufacturing Saudi Arabian versions of the many DF-3A and DF-21 that have been a part of the Royal Saudi Arabian Strategic Missile Force for almost 40 years.

Old map (data):

548232989.jpg

Those are some of the rumored ballistic missiles that KSA possess.

Type: DF-3A
  • Max range: 2800 to 4000 km
  • Length: 24 m
  • Diameter: 2.24 m
  • Weight: 64 tons

Type: DF-M1
  • Range: 1900 to 2500 km
  • Height: 18.5 m
  • Diameter: 1.25 m

Type: CSS-5
  • Range: 4000 to 5500 km

Type: CSS-6
  • Range: 5000 to 6500 km

Type: DF-11
  • Range: 900 to 1500 km
In addition to the old missiles CSS-2

Type: DF-31
  • - Range: 6000 to 11000 km

Pakistani medium range missiles

Type: Ghauri

  • Range: 1100 to 2300 km

Type: Shaheen-2

  • Range: 2000 to 2200 km

Ukrainian short-range missile

type: Grom-2

How likely is local development of the DF-41? It would be a natural choice and fit well into the already known information and extremely close strategic KSA-China comprehensive partnership.

What is also interesting, but possibly something that will never be answered directly (at least as of now), is, how many/if at all, KSA has of their own missiles (we know and have seen several cruise missiles lately courtesy of SAMI, GAMI etc.) and we also can't forget the South African (Denel) connection and ongoing cooperation with UAE and others.

what about israel sea breaker 300 km cruise missile?

buy lora missile

Stop the senseless spam. KSA is not going to buy any Israeli military hardware until/when/if Israel recognizes an independent Palestinian state and until/when/if KSA and Israel (if that condition happens in the first place) will become regional allies and actually develop a common security policy and trust between each other. Otherwise it is a pipe dream to believe that KSA is going to purchase Israeli military hardware let alone when Israel is a regional country with ambitions/goals in the region that don't always see an eye to eye with KSA's goals. That is why you won't ever see KSA buying any strategic weapons from any regional entity, unless fellow Arab country with close/strategic/long-term ties. Pakistan is not a regional country (not Western Asia) and is not included in this comment.

KSA will not buy an israeli equipments unlike UAE who bought some. Don't forget that KSA is the symbol of Islam so KSA will buy it when there will be an applied solution. Exactly like Egypt, we made peace +40 years and still we don't any of your equipments. Plus Israel will not offer the % of ToT than Turkey/India/Brazil/Serbia etc...

Finally, praise be to God... We now have an application similar to the American WhatsApp and the Chinese WeChat
This is a Saudi/Chinese application…and it was officially supported by the Leap Conference
Its features are great, and it includes video calls, messaging, meetings, and filters…and we are continuing to develop…my observations and “expectations” on it are as follows:

  • Universities, industrial partners can work together to solve problems, says VP

JEDDAH: The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology has completed its innovative mobile plant project for wastewater treatment, after five years of research at the university’s water desalination and reuse research center.

The project is a result of the efforts and partnerships between KAUST and the National Water Company.
The technology is the first of its kind in the Kingdom, as it treats wastewater and converts it efficiently into reusable water for areas that are not connected to the central sewage network.

It can reduce energy demand by 50 percent, and produce treated water of similar or even better quality than that produced by conventional biological treatment processes.

It is expected that this technology will have a significant impact on underserved areas of the Kingdom by creating new job opportunities that support Saudi youth and offer them the chance to make use of their talents.

HIGHLIGHTS

• The mobile plant treats wastewater and converts it efficiently into reusable water for areas that are not connected to the central sewage network.
• It can reduce energy demand by 50 percent, and produce treated water of similar or even better quality than that produced by conventional biological treatment processes.

Kevin Cullen, vice president of innovation at KAUST said: “Developing a reliable wastewater treatment service is one of the biggest challenges we face today.”

Cullen also pointed out that the ecosystem of deep tech startups at KAUST has become so developed that it has enabled the university to build strong partnerships with the government and established companies, which work together to bring these startups closer to the market.

In September last year, KAUST and the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones, or MODON, teamed up to tackle wastewater treatment.

Cullen said: “The relationship between KAUST and MODON is an excellent example of how universities and industrial partners can work together to solve real challenges in our society and in a city like Jeddah where we need to increase wastewater treatment capacity.”

MODON has been piloting a new wastewater bioreactor technology at scale at their industrial city in Jeddah.

During this partnership, Peiying Hong, an associate professor at KAUST, developed a new, zero-energy technology that may hold the key to transforming wastewater sustainability and recycling.

MODON, which operates significant infrastructure throughout the Kingdom for environmental services including wastewater treatment plants, has selected Hong’s technology to pilot on-site at its first industrial city in Jeddah.

Cullen explained: “This technology not only processes wastewater more efficiently using a decentralized treatment model, it can be done in an energy-neutral way providing sustainability for the future.”

As a nature and outdoor lover, what pleases me the most is the "السعودية الخضراء" initiative and how much has been done already within such a short timespan. The goal is to plant 10 billion new trees. A staggering number. To put it into perspective that is around 2 billion more trees than there are people in the world.

I cannot stress enough how great such projects are.

Tree planting provides numerous social and economic benefits

EFFORTS ACROSS THE KINGDOM ARE ALREADY HAVING A POSITIVE IMPACT.

  • 18 Million Trees planted in 2022
  • 60,000 Hectares Degraded land rehabilitated in 2022
  • 250,000 Shrubs Cultivated in AlUla nurseries
  • 62 Sites Approved for tree planting across KSA

I agree. I don’t see it happening before an independent Palestine emerges. Afterwards trust can be built. We cannot deny that Israelis in terms of ethnic/genetic, linguistic, culture, cuisine and much more share a lot with Arabs but we are talking about state relations here. Israel as of now, that is hostile to Palestine, does not want to see strong regional Arab states emerging. This could change if some kind of alliance, EU-like organisation emerges and ties become deeper and trust emerges as a consequence. I don’t see this happening before the main problem is solved.

tha main reason that we dont have normaliztion if were so saudia will buy some weapons with tot

Israel would love nothing more than normalisation with KSA that is the reason why Netanyahu is constantly mentioning KSA as the key to normalised Arab-Israeli relations. The ball is in the Israeli court. A lot has to change for this to become a genuine trustworthy partnership.

Palestine, no matter how long the conflict has been going on, has a special place in the hearts of most Arabs. Don't forget that KSA has hosted millions of Palestinians (temporarily or permanently) since 1948. Millions of Saudi Arabians grew up with them and their stories. The state apparatus taught children from young that injustices were being committed in Palestine and that Palestine is/was a country. There is also the religious aspect (Al-Quds) and other holy sites. There are close ethnic, tribal, kinship, family etc. ties. Vast majority of people in every Arab country have sympathy for Palestine. Dare I say, that this sympathy extends to non-Arab and non-Muslim states as well greatly.

As for weapons imports, ToT, cooperation etc. it all depends on what I wrote above and on the nature of those possible offers etc.

In any case close allies like UAE and Bahrain might serve as “guinea pigs” in terms of how their relationship with Israel will develop and vice versa. We already see some promising developments from all 3 countries, Israelis flooding UAE and a growing Jewish community in the UAE, etc. but I am not sure what the military gains have amounted to. I guess we will have to wait longer for that but in any case a possible KSA-Israel relationship cannot be compared to any other Israeli Arab relationship with all due respect due to the politics, religion, economics, geography, opportunities etc. involved.

Lastly, aside from security concerns and certain territorial demands of Israel (I lost the track of who thinks what in Israeli politics, it seems that the ultranationalist/religious Zionist factions have prevailed) what are the visions of Israel? What do they want with the region? Do they want integration with their Arab neighbors, free travel, trade, people to people relations etc.? Because the main priority of Palestinians (basic self-governance and independence) is evident.

What do you want as an Israeli Jew/Zionist? Ask yourself that question first. From the perspective of the average Palestinian, the answer is obvious too, the precondition to anything must at least be an independent and self-governed Palestine and basic rights for Palestinians.

I don't think that anyone can talk on behalf of Arabs as a whole, but I guess that most young/sane/educated Arabs, would prefer to have cordial/friendly relations with not only an Israel that recognizes Palestine and stops their harmful behavior, but any country on the planet.

From my time based in KSA, I can tell you, confidently, that there is no hatred for the average Israeli or Jew at all.
