I have never met a pukhtoon be it bar or lar who refers to himself as Pathan, a Pukhtoon is he who resides in Pakistan or Afghanistan or has family residing there and can trace his lineage to his clan for 100 of years.

My Pukhtoon brothers are Pakistanis, afghans are my cousins but not my brothers for we share different values, my loyalty is to the star and crescent and the ghilzais.
