"Made in China" vs "Make in India": a Glimpse from Their Auto Industries

Only Indians
They loved to make up lies to ease their bruised ego. They are hurt when forced to use superior Chinese product like the smartphone or computer they are accessing PDF. Making up lies and talk bad of others is the only way to vent out the frustration of the failure of their country.
In China, India is associate with open defecation, rape , Ganges filthy river and nothing. That is how low India is.

Virtually no made in India product in Chinese people's life. Their quality cannot match Chinese product or simply they don't know how to manufacture those things.

Add hunger, malnutrition, pollution, dirty, chaos and smelly, India is the most failure and backward nation in this world even worse than Sub-Saharan Africa!

Looks Indian to me. I don't want poo poo smell OK? No airbags again right? Have you seen Chinese cars btw before going into SUPA POWA mode?

It has not failed. Infact Indian's purchase power increased a lot and so they buy costly cars. Costly cars are big hit in India. Now TATA i making a higher versio of NANo like this.

How ever what about your BMW coppied car failed in crash test while Indian NANO successful in crash tes? This says a lot about chinese quality.

Please do not show these shitty midget "cars" again. We are not interested.. We have so many far better value for money cars here.
And please take a look at how many Audi, Benz, BMW are sold here in China: that is a combined annual sale of 1.6 million. Would you mind share your figure about how many "costly" cars have been sold in india??

Who in their right mind would risk their lives sitting in a TATA Nano?

looks like its a copy of the Mercedes Smart car but with Indian hardware and safety features.

They tried to see if there was a space in the market for it 6/7 years ago here in the UK when Tata bought Jaguar but got no excitement from the public and the idea was shelved. unsafe unreliable, indian manufactured you got to be a stupid to buy it.

Even the romanian car company Dacia out performed and sold Tata here in the UK

TATA Naxon. Unbelievable car at unbelievable price.

A great 110 PS engine power produced from just 1200 cc engine. 3 driving modes (Sports, Economy, City) , key less start and entry, 10 speaker great music system, Touch screen and stearing mounted control, 2 airbag standard , ABS, EBD, starts with just 9000 USD ex show room. Nobody in the world can match its quality in a price they offer.
A car in such a price range (600k to 700k rupee, or 60k to 70k Chinese yuan), but with a weak powertrain (81kw engine, manual transmission), lack of basic safety features (ESP, TPMS/Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Cruise Control, etc. ), also a baby bodysize. That's a JOKE according to the Chinese standard, no Chinese brands dare to launch such a joke car in the Chinese market.

A quick comparison: Chery Tiggo3:
Basic feature: 93kw engine, with both MT and CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) offerings.

Safety features table. Each column represents for a trim line. The price is given in Chinese Yuan (FYI: 1 CNY = 10.4 Rupee). I selected some of them and made the translation.

In case you don't understand the abbreviations I highlighted. Here is the fullname:
ESP: Electronic stability program
EBA: Emergency braking assistant
TCS: Traction Control System
HHC: Hill hold control
TPMS: Tire Pressure Monitoring System
LDW: Lane Departure Warning

Below are the price and safety feature tables of the Tata model that you feel very proud of. Make a comparison, and you will know why this Tata model is a JOKE according to Chinese brands cars

To be honest, Tata or other Indian brands, e.g. Mahindra, they should thank the God for the following two points:
- Indian people's ignorance to the competitiveness of the Chinese brands cars
- The high import tariff set by the Indian government: 60% to new car imports!!

You are ranked 20th in car export inspite being No 1 car producer in the world. This speaks a lot about quality of your cars.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_car_exports

Your export of cars is just 3% of Germany.

You leg behind India in car numbers of cars exported inspite of being such a big car producing country. You are good at making pencil cells only. DO not try so hard in car market. People know your quality.

The export gap is there. I fully agree with. The good news is the Chinese automobile industry export is growing very rapidly.

The auto exports of China in Q1 to Q3 2017 reaches 623k units, yoy growth 26.3%.
http://www.caam.org.cn/xiehuidongtai/20171012/1505212259.html

Regarding the Chinese cars, how about take a read at the article from Mckinsey, the best consulting company on the world.

Mckinsey says:
- Chinese domestic brands as a group increased their share of the passenger-vehicle market to 38 percent in 2016, from 32 percent in 2014, a huge feat when the market itself was undergoing double-digit yearly growth.

- What’s more, they (the Chinese domestic brands) captured this growth from global automakers of nearly every nationality, not from a single segment of weak players.

- The increasing competence of local brands constitutes an urgent warning to Western OEMs.

What they have exported are virtually all foreign brand so-called "cars". Their indigenous brand are nothing.. 90% of our exports are from our own brand.. I will add the data.

BTW, what the hell do you think auto exports are related to car quality? Prove it. And you haven't answer my inquiry yet, how many "costly" cars are sold in your country?? As BMW, BENZ, AUDI sold 1.6 million per year here in China. Our people are so thirsty to buy cars including the most luxury ones, why should we export? Be logic, think about it!

Too bad our market are so competitive. High CP value cars like the following one sells so bad, actually people here hardly take a notice on these cars.

This compact SUV cost less than 9000 USD, 4501*1820*1648 in size, 2600mm wheel base, ABS, EBD, air bags, LED day-time light, those indian standard luxury features all included. lol . disk brake, central lock, and most importantly, POWER WINDOWS of course:cheesy: oh God, I keep talking about these things, but even these most basic things they all lack of...

Power Windows: Front Only.. Hahahahahaahha!
You must be kidding me, only front power windows? What age are these Indians living in? Nobody would buy your cars if they are no power windows in China. No central locking? Wow....

Btw, alot of India cars use Chinese auto components, we sell them in the billions.
http://www.business-standard.com/ar...-first-fall-after-5-years-116061700367_1.html

China is the leading exporter of components to India, no Chinese automobile company has a manufacturing base here. At $3.2 bn, China accounts for 23 per cent of component import. "Rising import is a matter of concern, though it shows that domestic consumption is growing," said Vinnie Mehta, director-general at the Association.
