"Made in China" vs "Make in India": a Glimpse from Their Auto Industries

I remember all seasoning Indian Trolls were in this forum mocked China cars for poor safety rating, Indian Troll called Chinese cars death trap that made out of tin cans. Now Chinese car rank among the best in safety rating but 3rd world Indian Troll cars scored zero in safety rating, the role reverse for Indian Trolls to eat some humble pies.
Yes, they said the same about our pollution. They didn't even realize about their pollution, the western media didn't give a hoot about it until last 2 years. Now the most polluted country in the world is INDIA, I was not surprised at all. Judging from the way they operate, I already knew it was the fact.:D

Now the worm is out of the can, their cars even those made by foreign brands are rated ZEROOOOOO. I can be sure if you rate ALL types of cars they produce, it would be the same result. This is an industrial wide symptom on quality. While Chinese quality is improving, theirs is not due to the blame, excuse and argue culture. The Chinese will quietly accept the bashing and improve, Indians will ARGUE. See the difference.

I had to laugh at the sheer bravado by the Chinese poster who had the cheek to post this thread.

1. Indian cars are not required by law to have airbags - I think the compulsory Airbags rule kicks into action in Sept 2019. That's why Indian cars do badly on crash tests.

2. Among developing Asian countries, neither India nor China wears the crown - it is Thailand which exports cars worth $11 billion, India worth $6.5 billion and China is 3rd with $5 billion.

3. A Chinese designed car was introduced in India under the Chevrolet brand - result: disaster and Chevrolet has actually pulled out of the domestic market.

China is leaps and bounds ahead of India in electronics manufacturing but to compare Indian cars which are genuinely at par with some of the best cars in the world in those segments to pathetic Chinese cars is ridiculous.

How? Just by your bragging mouth, with those ZEROOOOO star ratings?

Chinese cars have improved a lot during the past decade; they are now almost up to European safety standard.

Chinese-made Sedan named world's safest car (Euro-NCAP 5 star 2013)

Haval H2 and LDV T60: ANCAP 5 star:

But look at these "make in india" death traps...

And take a look at these ignorant and arrogant articles:
http://www.ideasforindia.in/article.aspx?article_id=1673
http://www.autocarpro.in/analysis-reports/india-surpasses-china-passenger-car-exports-20224

I am puzzled by how and where indians gain so much confidence in making claims like: india make better quality goods than China, or india make high-tech stuff, while China only make stuff using cheap labour ... blabla.. Just because they literally make nothing as compared to China, so they can make better and higher-tech things? Weird logic.. Can any body help explaining such strange mentality of indians?

Here are some facts about auto industry:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_motor_vehicle_production#cite_note-ind-22
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/india...l-2017-indian-car-sales-figures-analysis.html
http://carsalesbase.com/china-car-sales-analysis-2016/

China's production is nearly 30 million with more than 40% (this is about 12 million) by domestic brands (such as Great Wall Haval, Geely, and BYD, etc. and these main stream domestic brands all make their self-developed engines and gear boxes), while indian production is barely 4.5 million, and 80% of which are dominated by Suzuki and Hyundai little midget cars, while domestic brands like Tata and Mahindra only have a combined 10% or so market share, and this also applies to their exports, which they claim to have surpassed China. Lol.. as more than 90% of auto exports are from our domestic brands. And since we can't even meet our domestic demands, why should us export??

This is just the tip of the iceberg, for other industries, the gaps are even bigger. "Make in india" is not about "Make" at all, but about "talk"... It really really sucks!
I agree that China's car manufacturing has matured by leaps and bounds. If you look at the trend China first copies and then, they become pioneers within few years in same field.Take the case of Solar energy,Trains and metros, mobiles, communication equipment, etc.
The future of automobiles is electric and China already has a huge headstart over other countries and setting new trends already.BYD is rumoured to supply VW batteries for its electric cars.
The reason the indian cars are failing the crash tests is dictated more by market dynamics than the lack of enginnering acumen.Indians were not willing to pay for safety equipment like ABS,Airbags and better crash worthy cars.Small cars rule the roost in India. But this trend is changing gradually. From 2018 indian govt. has made ABS,Airbags, rear parking sensors mandatory on all cars.
Indian car manufacturers have good engineering capability.Only market demand is driving their innovations.

Yes, they are on par with the best and get ZERO rating while China is nowhere near them and get 5 stars. The amazing Indian logic, Jack doesn't believe in Olympics Gold btw, he thinks cricket is the world's most popular sport.:rofl::rofl:

Now you believe me these people are delusional?

Bhai airbags is just one of the criteria, the main element is the structural integrity, if your car gets ZERO, it's basically crap. 10 years ago, ONE Chinese car got this rating and all Indians were laughing. It was the first try by a Chinese company. The next 5 years they got 2 stars, and now 5 stars. You see where I am going here? The Chinese manufacturer were not exposed to the test regime, they didn't know how it was graded, but they learn. Same for aircraft, ARJ-21 took 10 years to be certified, Indians were laughing, now CAAC has bilateral certification with FAA. It took us 10 years to get there, do you know how powerful is the bilateral certification? It means we are on par with the best aviaiton standards.

Indian is too ignorant about that. They will only laugh at their stupidity and think they are already superpower and first world. I am happy of Indian having such mentality. I love Indian continue being the frog in the well while superpower like China will continue to advance :enjoy:

You should know all about anal. You have been taking it for years. That why you come here on this forum because you want more.

Indian are good at self comforting. They just need to go into denial mode and live in their own world and everything is all right for them. Behave like an ostrich will do.
