Maybe, can't speak of LUMS.. JNU me but full experience hai meraApparently LUMS produces many fine and employable grads, which is hardly something that can be said for our JNU grads who seem to be studying there only to occupy a room in a prime area of Delhi.
abe yahan waaley pe bhi advertisment and binnis sikhatay hain, full champagne socialist scene.Isn't LUMS a management institute? How is that people aspiring for life in the capitalist corporate world entertain leftist thoughts? Maybe it's just wokeism-tokenism?
Gramsci would passionately disagree with the claim that neoliberals are capable of independent thinking. And both are capable of independent thinking, which is anathema to a mandatorily conformist society.
wah kya baat hai . phly balochistan ko barbaad karo phir challange karo . balochistan ko punjab waly haqooq de do phir koi bhi ja saky ga .All those Punjabis from LUMS rallying for Balochi missing persons. I challenge you to go live on ant part of Balochistan and survive an yaar without death threats and kidnap.

LUMS is no longer just a management institute, the four other schools of LUMS have been excelling as well. LUMS's science and engineering school has made immense progress in the last five years and is now one of the best in the country. I am not sure which schools end up producing leftists but most probably it is not the school of business or the school and science and engineering.Apparently LUMS produces many fine and employable grads, which is hardly something that can be said for our JNU grads who seem to be studying there only to occupy a room in a prime area of Delhi.

Exactly, these dumbasses don't realize the importance of different opinions. Lack of diversity of thought leads to the death of society and I say this as someone who hates leftists since I am a diehard capitalist. And both are capable of independent thinking, which is anathema to a mandatorily conformist society.
With all due respect, your JNU can't hold a candle against LUMS. LUMS goes head to head against your top four IIMs.mashallah, you guys got a a JNU of your own.. sahi hai !

That is an exaggeration. The Left is divided into two kinds:LOL. Either of them think of the other as somewhat subhuman too, so no surprises there, either.
still a flawed way of thinkingThat is an exaggeration. The Left is divided into two kinds:
a) Those who take pains to ensure that their ideas, beliefs and action holds up to scrutiny. They are able to speak intelligently on ideas pertaining to economics, ethics and science, and they can defend their positions with intellectual rigour and honesty. Many of these are modern-day humanists, and their primary drive is human well-being regardless of the political divide.
b) Those who support an intellectual position or an action because their personality traits (OCEAN) are aligned with those positions. They often indulge in confirmation bias. When asked to explain or justify the rationale or mechanics of the ideas they espouse, they are unable to do so.
Not long ago, before the internet became so accessible, most of the Left consisted of the former. The internet has been very successful at disseminating the outwardness of these ideas, but it has not had enough time to explain them. It will eventually reign in this latter species of the Left. That is what the research seems to suggest.
Okay. Good luck with that attitude to life.still a flawed way of thinking
