Well, I hope no hungry man is ever caught sneaking into your house to steal. Islam allows one to beg, but not to steal, in any case, whether the state provides or not. Islam does not allow stealing but it doesn't allow punishing just for the sake of punishment either. If one ever steals food to eat and not out of greed or prank, especially in a developed country, he/she would most likely be sympathized with.

On the contrary, I believe both should be punished, infact I believe PPP clan should be punished ahead of PML. They have caused more embarrassment and damage to our reputation and economy in their last Government than all PML Governments combined.

Well I am seeing people praising Rizwan Akhtar for fixing up KHI.

During his tenure as DG Rangers Sindh. No Ranger dared to act against the MQM goons and it was the hard work of Bilal Akbar who came up and banged MQM like no one else. Rizwan Akhtar's tenure as DG Rangers was nothing but a drama.

I agree that Maj Gen Bilal Akbar did the dirty work or on ground but the planning and information collection was carried out by Rizwan Akhtar

Than you have no idea about operations. It was Rizwan Akhtar who started all the opeartion and if you think on day one of operation they were going to go after MQM head quarters than you are wrong. You don't end this MAFIA by directly hitting on top you start from low level thugs and most of the MQM goons were arrested or killed in his time and than he became ISI head operation became much faster. Bilal Akbar was leading Rangers but Rizwan was the one planning all the moves

I just verified from authentic religious scholar. In Sharia there is a definition of theft. If that definition is satisfied then the punishment is to cut off the hand and nothing can change this, not even sure need. This is because it is a Hadd enjoined upon us by Allah the Almighty and none have the power to change it.

Now, the definition of theft includes a certain amount. If the theft is less than the defined amount, then the Hadd will not be applied. So yes, I was wrong to say that the punishment of stealing an egg would be to cut the hand. Thank you for pointing out my error and helping me increase my knowledge. May Allah Give you many rewards. Exactly, he got a very good start. We were really happy partly because of getting rid of the corrupt goon NS and partly due to his own simple and clean style of government. But then he left the life of a soldier and started to get corrupted, got involved in politics and became one of them.
