Most likely and easy choice for P.M is Gen. Ramday. But he is also Arain like Zia and maintain low profile no one knows exactly about his political views but his family is in good terms with PMLN.

I dont think Gen Ishfaq will be made COAS, firstly because since he is being described as assertive and blunt, this is a big no for Nawaz Sharif... Also i have observed anyone who is being speculated and expected as COAS, in media as most likley choice is never named COAS... Even in Gen Raheel Sharif's time, Gen Rashid Mehmood's name was coming, and also Gen Haroon... Some were expecting Gen Tariq khan too...but no one, not even one person had expected Gen Raheel Sharif.... So lets think..who has the least chances of becoming COAS? In my opinion, one who we dont expect at all, will become next chief...

The chances of General Ramzay are high as Nawaz sharif wants him but on the basis of merit or the one who deserves it is General Ashfaq Nadeem, on the contrary General Bajwa is also considered a good candidate if not Ishfaq Nadeem.

As much as everyone, including RS wants Gen Nadeem to become COAS, we know that he doesn't like BS. NS is himself a BS so he may not be selected. Also, Zarb e Azb is now in final stages so government is not keeping him on top of the list.

Gen Ramday has become controversial. So forget about him.

Gen Hayat... very good man, goes by the book.. But he is becoming CJCS, so no to him.

Gen Bajwa.. Masters degree in LoC affairs lolz. I think NS/ BS will select him.

Who said that? I saw sethi's program last night. You must have failed to comprehend. He said Gen Hayat will probably be CJCSC and in the end he gave a hint by saying A is for the apple (meaning Gen ishfaq Nadeem Ahmed) B is for the apple of the eye of the PM (meaning Gen Bajwa) and R is for the one who also ran for the position (meaning Gen Ramday) he also said that some one has picked up pace as a contender in the last 2 days and he meant Gen Ramday. So what I understood from his conversation is that the race is between Gen Ishfaq and Gen Bajwa. Gen Ramday will be the one who also ran and that's about it.

yup Sethi said Ashfaq Nadeem is the least likely one as he is seen a bit gun hoe and very frank and straight to the point when dealing with politicians.

Ramday was the one he said no one knew about, and when asked about him he said he couldn't get any answers. Yet ramday is the one who has clear political linkage because of his family ties with PML N

Hyatt the one with the glasses, is expected to take on the CJCSC

That leaves us with Bajwa who i think NS would not want a risk to work with, out of the 4 generals Bajwa looks like the most likely to over throw NS
