The point is that any such acts are illegal and carry swift punishment. For example, in this case action is already taken, you will see the government, the police and the human rights commission all took action, and mainstream media played the role of reporting. Kerala Registration Department Inspector-General K R Vivekanandan was removed from the post following a complaint that his office and car were “cleansed” with cow dung hours after his predecessor A K Ramakrishnan, who belonged to the SC community, retired from service at the end of last month. The decision to shunt out Vivekanandan was taken by the Cabinet.


In a related development, the police arrested three officials of the department who allegedly “cleansed” the office with water mixed with cow dung on March 31, the day Ramakrishnan retired.



The Kerala Human Rights Commission has sought a report from the Secretary, Taxation Department, on the insult meted out to the Dalit officer.



On March 31, the officials sprinkled the IG’s office, his chair and other furniture with water mixed with cow dung. Vivekanandan, who took over the next day, did not initiate any action against the uncivilised action of the office staff.

First of all Nothing of this sort is done in kerala. Just look at the related news in the source given, i think they have a fetish on animals. I can imagine the elevated heart beats of thread starter when he saw the news and decided to spam it here. Lots and lots of links, stories and pics will be given by him one after the other. Also the news is quite old and since its just a prank it hasnt got much media's attention later in a state with more than 95% literacy, since people know about the realities ... but unfortunatly even with proper education some are still illeterate so they dig up old news and show their "concern" ... pathetic loosers.

I have searched Kerala media's.. it happened in my city of Trivandrum,Kerala... It was probably a prank done by fellow officers. They even bursted crackers on his retirement day.. and in order to make his messy .. they sprayed cow dung and cow urine .. as its impossiple to produce that much urine by themselves..

it has nothing caste factor in it. The officer has been strict and this is the way the fellow officers planned his retirement. Anyway medias picked it up as he belongs to low caste.. if it was a high caste or any other .. it would have been a funny youtube video.. thats all ..incidents like these happens when people has issues , with officers getting showered with dirt is not that uncommon.


Anyway its a chance for OP to google search a few old articles and show his "concern".... and even if its proven its not about castes, he will continue to bring it back for self satisfaction.

Thanks for the input. So its some personal fight. After all cowdung is good, it has many uses across south Asia. Its also used as fuel and purifier.
