All the lover boys, macho hot shots and self stylized movie star couples of any school I went to did nothing special academically. Most of them beg me for jobs now. Love is a hoax, just get your papers and get married. We all should strive to please our parents.

Maintaining a full time relationship on top of your schooling is just asking for disaster. Most relationships will last less than a year, maybe 2 if you are something special. Then after that you will be left picking up the crumbled remains of your student life. Seen it all my life with friends.

Just speaking from my own experience, but youngsters do not have this control. One of my own brothers got in a mess with some girl and almost dropped out of engineering school till I came and set him in place lol.

lol not bragging but I had quite a few gf's through my high school and university life, and im sure I haven't reasonably bad lol If you can prioritize things well and can keep control over yourself, having a gf can be very thrilling ( and expensive lol ). And it gives you experience for the future, you will be a better husband lol

By all means if you think you can handle it go ahead. Actually I would say having friends with benefits and pension package is better for the busy student.

friends with benefits no way man, now thats what I call wrong. By having a gf your committed to something but friends with benefits is just a fancy word for not paying for sex. Lol how can you say that I wont be a better father lol Good fathers have to be conservative ? You get to learn how to be committed, how to value the feelings of a woman and how to cherish them, these things surely help you in being a better father.

Most girls I have come across in student life do not want to be committed to a single man. In my own opinion though there is not too much different between girlfriend and stress reliever. A good father doesn't have to be conservative but he doesn't learn how to parent his kids because he happened to have a gf in high school.

Bulls eye, couldn't agree more. Life is short, might as well enjoy and live it to the MAX but as you said keep a balance in life. Its a pure fallacy that in order to do good in life you shouldn't enjoy life, this is something that is taught to us Pakistanis from our parents but as i have grown older i realized that its not true.

lol most girls I have come across want to be committed to one man at one time GF's are stress relievers but also those moments you spend with that remain with you for a long time, there isnt anything cuter than a love story between two teens lol You can say that there is no direct relationship between having a gf and being a father but it does make you more mature for sure.
