She was always openly atheist....people went after her for her anti-Islamic stance not her feminism..Arundhati would have survived because she is not overtly anti-Islamic or anti-religious like Nasrin.

I didn't read his book because I know this man have pure hatred of his religion and his followers but I don't. I have hatred for its followers only.

I have read his books...he has not showed any hatred for Muslims in general in either text or speech...infact even with all the death threats he got you would expect him to hate the people who started it...he doesn't show any animosity towards the Ayatollahs either...he only mocks them.
