London transport company removes offensive anti-Pakistan advertisements from cabs

Where exactly did they receive publicity? This has primarily been covered in Pakistani media. I don't watch Indian media but it may have been covered there as well. Dude, no one else is talking about this anywhere else. Get out of your world where everyone cares about terrorist state of India's propaganda.

No doubt this news has received media coverage in both India and Pakistan. This is to be expected. But the news has made the British papers:

Would it even make it to UK papers if Pakistan not raise the issue? One can quibble about how much publicity these ads will get because of media coverage, but one can't argue that it didn't help.

No, the joke is on you. Pakistan, by making a stink out of nothing, gave the backers of these 'Free Balochistan' ads and posters, whomever they may be, free publicity. If Pakistan government said nothing and ignored them, the campaign would have died a quick death, but instead it gave it new life.

There are lot of Pakistanis in UK. They can do the same using "Free Kashmir" to get back at India. Heck Brit Pakistanis here should make a crowd funding page to fund such an ad campaign in UK.

TFL works directly under the mayor of london (who is a pakistani) so this was expected

TFL cant have politically motivated advertisement on its cabs or buses as it will upset millions of people living in london be they are pakistani or Indians. these cabs are sub contracted to have advertisement from third part marketing companies who obviously didn't have a clue what free balochistan was and ended up putting it on the cabs for money. once the complaints were made to TFL there was only going to be a matter of time before they were taken down.

for our indian posters please note how the advertisement was put on and taken down in a matter of 24 hours better luck next time

Not to mention the world attention it gathered....i saw reports of this on f24...aljazeera ...german papers and bbc.

Not all Balochs who seek a free Balochistan are members, or support, groups such as BLA. If there was such a connection then groups like BRM would be banned in UK, but they still operate freely there

You are talking like ignorant, sir. There is very minimum number of Balochs who fall for this freedom drama. Secondly the amount of people are so low that neither Pakistan nor UK deserve the attention towards them.

The recent developments have made situation much better in Balochistan, as people who were once under the propaganda of exiled Nawabs are surrendering their weapons and applying for jobs. More over the last elections gave chance to Baloch nationalist parties to form their own govt which annihilated all the propaganda fed by exiled Nawabs to local people.

What loss? If you are talking financially, how much? A few thousand pounds, at the most? The free publicity achieved when Pakistan made it an issue more than paid for the ads. I expect more, not less.

If interest for a ‘free Balochistan’ is so low, as you state, why did Pakistan government even bother protesting over a handful of ads displayed on London taxis? Why is so Pakistan so sensitive about Balochistan if there's little chance of anything happening. Sounds like insecurity to me.

As for Balochs surrendering en masse and applying jobs. We have seen this scenario before. Balochistan has always been a restive province, with or without India’s involvement. Balochs often complain of neglect and Pakistan government has offered them one palliative after another for years, only to neglect them later. Perhaps this time it will be different with CPEC. But we shall see.
