Exotix Capital, a UK investment firm specializing in emerging markets, hosted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan at its London headquarter this week. After the event, a tweet from the firm said the PTI Chief addressed "senior representatives of some of the world’s biggest institutional investors" at this meeting.

During discussion that followed his presentation, Imran Khan showed "Reluctant acceptance that IMF assistance may be necessary" and expressed "pragmatism on the need for constructive US relations" and "regret over the lack of transparency of pricingin Chinese-led infrastructure projects", according to a report.

Based on the events in Pakistan since July, 2017 beginning with the disqualification of Mr. Nawaz Sharif from holding elected office, analysts at Exotix have concluded that a "coalition led by PTI has become more likely". The analysts say this is "positive long term, warning short term"

Just wait for the flood gates of ex-pat Pakistanis investment to open and come forward after Asad Umer becomes Finance Minister of Pakistan.

I expect him to come up with public private enterprise ownership schemes and Other foreign investment might struggle to compete with just our own bringing back their hard earned to Pakistan, in sha Allah...

Whether PTI can sustain the trust of people against the old age corrupt practices remains to be seen as a lot of structural policy overhaul is required to streamline foreign investment and guard against loot and plunder by the well entrenched legacy of corrupt bureaucracy.

All the same, if PTI can't deliver due to its coalition then it has itself to blame for not getting enough seats...the political scene is set for an overwhelming response from voters in favour of PTI, no excuse now but political suicide.

That is likely but only for PTI to loose if it does not nominate the right candidates in Punjab.

Imran is not even in power but his (self funded) foreign trips are actually laying down ground work for investment in Pakistan.

Remember when patwaris would claim that Nawaz needed to go overseas every month to bring investment?
What investment did they ever bring?

I love this guy he's a sportsman and I remember his words that he will fight for Pakistan till his last breath.

IK once again showing how a leader is suppose to be? Pakistan can progress well if some one like IK makes it to the position of PM however little do our uneducated masses know who sell their vote for a plate of birayani. I can only hope and pray than Pakistanis wake up and realize before its too late.

The only issue that PTI might face in government is from Nawaz Sharif and his bitch daughter. Remember this guy does not have habit of sitting in opposition. He twice conspired with the president and establishment to bring down Benazir government. During Zardari government he had arrangement that "pehlay ap ki bari phir humari" and hence he remained quiet for the most part.

Mark my words during PTI government this suwar will be wheeling and dealing to bring down the government. It is in Pakistan's interest that he is either sent to jail or sent six feet under.
