On the contrary, I think Nehru was pretty smart. He launched the Forward Policy based on a belief that "China could do no more harm to India" in 1962 when China was in the middle of the worst famine in our entire history (Great leap forward).

He attacked us when we were at the weakest point in our entire history, and dying from famine. Which was the best time to attack, by far.

Now, what is stupid, is the Indians saying the same thing as Nehru, but in 2017 when the situation is the opposite and China is overwhelmingly more powerful than India.

Nehru was smart, and even handsome!, he was just naive, and did not understand Chinese's mindset. Attacking China when she was weak would definitely irritate Chinese with strong retaliation. He was provoking Mao, who is ranked as one of the few most brilliant military strategists in China history. Mao fight more than 30 years, ever commanded million soldiers. Every individual Mao's solider is a tiger.

They also believe in north/south divide. They perhaps are not privy to the fact that South Indian Hindus are more rabid in their Hinduism than north Hindus

I gave you the answer. China has no capability to hurt India, since India is a country which is a self-proclaimed superpower in 2012.

So what are you worried about? Keep poking China with the Dalai Lama, in the South China Sea, with arms sales to Vietnam, etc.

The only backlash you will see is that China will permanently block India's NSG and UNSC aspirations. But nothing more, certainly not an overwhelming military action in the AP and Ladakh sectors, or raining down mass produced Rocket artillery on New Delhi which is only 300km from the border.

Chinese hipocrasy at its best.

1. China has already constructed on what is disputed territory btw India and Pakistan. Compare that with what India is doing in south china sea (i.e. exploring a oil block)

2. China has already armed Pakistan to the teeth (even nuclear weapons). Compare that with arms sales to Vietnam most of which are still on paper.

3. Blocking India's entry to NSG, UNSC; Shielding a terrorist who has killed hundreds on innocent people (you claim to be an analyst and i am sure you know the truth) etc Compare that with Dalai lama a monk who has already recognized Tibet as a part of China but wants more autonomy.

Can you see the hipocrasy. And in the end you act like a saint standing on a moral high ground wolf in a sheep's clothing.
