Local manufactures to introduce cheap electric bikes in Pakistan

Pakistan made electronics stuff is very reliable some to mention ceiling fans, a/c, refrigerators/deep freezers, water pumps and motors, etc.

I don't have any doubts on quality, welcome announcement.

.
bro i disagree i have Pakistani made fan and cuzins too have them they are slow to rotate when turned on and not that fast. best motors i have seen is japan tamiya
motor and chinese made but these are very luxury types and may only see in custom products. They have newdynamium magnet not ceramic and front and back ball bearings four way brushes and metal fan to cool them.
You can disagree all u want but reality is that today is time to do R&D on eletric bikes and not on obsolete internal combustion engines.

If Pakistani electric equipments are of lower quality then they are cheap as well ... u cant compare chinese with japnese as chinese products are of lower quality but also cheap same is with Pakistani products ...

.
only great things pak has produced is mango and treet shaving b

nope again i disagree not cheaper the atta dough kneader machine cost me like 100 pounds each then shipping and tax. it had fake motor and no circuit board.
nothing but fraud just like pak government.

what R and D on electric bikes it just be another fraud scam on the pak citizens some shitty tharak assembled bike with inflated prices.

Petrol engine will never go out no electric motor can compete with combustion engine.

.
I mean not smelting, but production of wires, transformers and all associated value chains.
Surprisingly we are manufacturing and exporting world class coper wires and also exporting basic electrical goods such as fans, washing machines water pupms etc ...

I agree that electric bikes are much high tech than basic electrical items but this is the way to go ... skipping the internal combustion engine tech and directly focusing on the next generation tech is the way to go specially considering we have the world second largest copper reserves and already have basic industries related to electrical equipments and lead acid batteries ... need to work on lithium batteries ...

Your argument

Lack facts and rational. A single transaction by some fradulent dealer means nothing ... only an idiot will ourchase atta dough machine at 200 pounds .. which we dont even produce under a single known brand ...

Keep dreaming that petrol engines are not going anywhere

Excellent input; this is where we dont see Pak's showing these at any one of our expos'. I attend the Rand show every year; on Pak stands, all we see is mostly carpets. Meanwhile - Mahndra and others are there in force as a good marketing team. We dont see this from Pak at all.
We get a lot of cement from Pak here as well. I think there was concern last year on dumping.

you lack facts yourself except claimimg pak is world leader in this and that when nobody even heard of the companies or brands of pak.

I purchased the dough machine because i thought i do the company a favor
support pak industry but i was wrong for buying a fraud fake a ss product that had a fake motor.

petrol engine out live electric motor will always have more power and can be taken anywere. you need clean straight flat roads for electric motor otherwise the shit thing will over heat. pak doesn't have decent roads. it just good for small transportation like on electrc bike ride around college campus.

maybe you should ask pak army to switch alkhalid tank to electric motor.

The real issue with Pakistani business is they lavk corporate structure and are mostly controlled by single owners therefore business can grow only upto the extent they can be managed by a single family and subsequently stop growing.

Here is an example of a Pakistani brand exporting fans but not known to the world as Mr. Ilyas dont want to delegate his powers to his employees http://gfcfans.com/export-history/

I have seen the electric scooters from hattar
Does anyone knoe the price of those scooters
Government should atleast buy a few thousend scooters and provide it to the working class womens on various schemes
It would promote both electric scooters and promote two wheeler transports for females

Don't know but saw one near the factory a few years ago when I was visiting.

Apart from scooters we need to work on elec buses so that we can reduce individual petrol based vehicles and switch to mass transit where possible.

As for atta machines, we have a local one running properly since 2004-2005.

Yes, hybrids should be promoted as well in the interim period.

However we should strive to switch towards mass transit and elec scooters/vehicles as tech matures.

It is better to skip a generation than reinvent the wheel and be several decades behind everyone.

We are 200 mill plus and considering our willingness to have more kids this figure would increase exponentially.

We can't just keep importing vehicles and have increasing traffic jams.

Mass transit, mobility as a service and elec bikes/vehicles are the way forward.
