MQM is still regaining its strength .. they need someone polite and person who can handle pressure ..
hope the responsibility and sensitivity of the position is given to WA will change him ... but it will be a hard risk my friend ..

I also think that Karachi need an aggressive Mayor, we are already lagging behind and lost too many years of development. world second most populated city is intentionally ignored by Establishment, federal and provincial governments , now local government is last card we have in our hands.

Not so many people follow any specific anchor, and claims of risk are common in many talk shows but locals are always more aware of ground realities, and recent days are different then past as security forces are in continuous action against criminals so its not easier for miscreants to play an open hand like they caused in past. but still many media sources and election monitoring sources have claimed lower turnout. May be your opinion is different but then the question is on what basis you are claiming of 50% turnout?

I dont know how you figured that people dont follow specific anchors whereas the entire media industry lives on ratings your assumption is incorrect media sells every second your please research this a bit more this may help you get insight. This perticular anchor i gave as an example has the highest ratings !

Everything is viewed in comparison, just in Karachi if few thousands follow any specific anchor does not contribute significant percentage of Karachi viewers. different anchors are quoting different perspectives, and as you yourself understand media business then you do know that folks are getting equal chances of watching different perspectives. so even a single media personality or media opinion don't effect majority as their is always a counter perspective present in media.

When I opposed your argument related to media business, but seems like you don't want to get my point that due to counter arguments present in this same media, folks just cannot be manipulated by single person no matter if his rating is so high.

Voting for a party directly on the pay roll of an enemy state is incomprehensible

When nobody did anything to save muhajirs from genocide by Pashtuns during the late 80s and 90s, then voting for Indian agents is comprehensible.

When the Pakistan Army massacred 15,000 muhajirs during the 1992 operation, then seeking support from RAW is comprehensible.

When Punjabis and Pashtuns openly and proudly display their ethnic/caste identity, yet expect Muhajirs to be Pakistani; then voting traitors is comprehensible.

I will definitely seek support from RAW when I see people like openly spewing your hatred in the name of National Interest. To hell with such patriotism where we have to be subservient to the stupid rhetoric of Punjabi jingoism.

If any solid evidence existed that MQM was backed by RAW apart from few confessions by tortured workers, I am sure the whole world would have been informed by now, not least the US, when NS visited.

brother I voted for pti. I love my country but my freinds voted for mqm and seriously man people do vote for mqm. They love muhajir phenomena.
