-Indian aspirations to clamp down on Pakistan, espeically in the international community. Just like post-1962 Chinese debacle. For Indian international aspirations she needs to dominate the region she cannot do so on China she'd try out on Pakistan. -Pakistani attempts to support indigenous resistance in Kashmir and the region. For better or worse it fuels the fire.

-Indian attempts to integrate Kashmir into her territory (building waterworks and so on)

-Pressure on Pakistan by supporting Balochi and other separatist movements, even if there is no material support the Indian press and intelligentsia has proposed such a stance and the perception exists in Pakistan for this case

-BJP lead parties pursue a more aggressive diplomacy and engagement than Congress and our PML-N focuses on pacifism with India

Here I would like to point out that at this point our military wants to focus on the internal situation more.
