Women and people in General should be free to do whatever they want in their life as long as they don't break the laws of said country and if it was an Islamic country God's laws that were said on his book should be implemented as well. But if no one breaks those then they should be free as much as they want. Women want to wear mini-skirts let them the Quran says that women should cover themselves but there is no punishment for not doing so hence it is not really against Shariah for a woman to show some skin if they want but they will certainly commit a sin. Which will be between her and God in the life after.

But that also does not mean that we should not at least tell them that this wrong and this is right but that is where our interference stops.

Women that show skin are insecure. They want people to appreciate them more on a social scale, and accept them for the desire they can achieve. I think a sexy girl can completely cover her self, because sexiness is also achieved through personality. Sexiness is not defined by a show of a skin, but by mostly how a woman thinks. Hate me if my opinion is wrong.

I am not calling for Women to show some skin on the contrary I would hate for this to happen. But however it should not be enforced.

Half naked is an interesting word. you can use this word for those who wear skirt and top or salwar-sameez, depends upon your choice..

There is nothing called Iranian culture, Iranian culture was demolished when All persian were converted to Islam, Its now Arabic culture which ate all other culture came into its way.

Modernization and liberalism means you do what you like to do, but under the state law. State may be liberal enough to understand the ppl wish. State must not implement tyrannic middle age barbaric law/ritual on its subject.

Wearing western dress is not bad. If we go with your logic 9 out of 10 women on earth are naked/half-naked.

Oh indian, why are you losing sleep because of it. Let Iranians live the life they want, and Iranian culture is not the same as Arab culture. Just because of the clothes they wear you think they are following Arab culture? So by that logic, they were following European culture before 1979 revolution. Many Middle Eastern countries dont have traditional cultural clothes that Pakistan and India has. Have you watched Iranian films and listened to Iranian poetry? Iranians have a culture of their own.

I have great respect for the Iranians. They are very liberal, hardworking and successful where ever they are. I hope the stupid regime changes coz they deserve better.
