Letter from Erdogan to Arabs in Arabic

What I basically see here is that Mohammad bin Salman and Erdogan are going toe to toe for supremacy of the Middle East as the defacto 'Sultan'. While Erdo is using the Pan-Islamic card, members like @Saif al-Arab are going the pan-Arab route. Interesting indeed.

I'd have to give my vote to Erdo due to being a Muslim and what @Saif al-Arab is advocating is not in accordance with Islam.

KSA is more Islamic than Turkey. Erdogan is a secular head of state whose country has official ties with Israel, hosts an Israeli embassy, has trade ties with Israel and has had very close military cooperation with Israel for years. In fact Erdogan is the worst kind of "Muslim leader" as he is a textbook populist who changes opinions each weak. From leading the fight against Al-Assad to working side by side with Putin (Russia) due to fears of Kurdish independence in Syria and Iraq.

MbS is not anti-Islamist but anti-terrorism. There is a difference here. MbS is looking inwards (KSA) and working for Arab cooperation with every sane Arab supports, including me.

Prophet Muhammad (saws) also worked for Arab unity first and afterwards Muslim unity on a larger scale.

It is funny that Pakistanis (this is nationalist Pakistani forum), Turks, Iranians and everyone else can be nationalists and patriots, but when Arabs do the same (Arabs are already one of the most proud people and that has always been the case), "Muslims" pretend to be outraged while being no different. This is quote frankly a joke.

I am not against Muslim cooperation but I am not going to kid myself or ally myself with individuals or movements which are against my people (Arabs) or our countries. That's simply never going to happen. Neither would you, I believe. In fact I am 100% sure of this.

You might disagree with my post but I believe that I speak the truth here.

@SALMAN F @TheCamelGuy might elaborate more here.

I wasn't talking about which country is more Islamic rather the approach the two leaders are taking while vying for power as the leader of the Middle East. Neither was I questioning who is more genuine, but rather the strategies they are employing. It's a power game and unfortunately for the Mullahs of Iran, their scope of influence is rather small due to their affiliation with Shi'ism. Erdogan is a lot more intelligent than he lets on because, he is basically trying to woo the Palestinians who have a soft spot in every Muslim nation's heart regardless of sectarian differences. The Mullahs of Iran are also trying to use this strategy. Basically whoever holds the image that he is doing the most for the Palestinians will gain the most support. MbS comes off as one with an iron handed approach which is not working in his favor in the art of diplomacy regarding the Middle East and Islamic world.

These are just my personal observations so far.

You arabs give a bad name to every country in the middle east and all muslims across the globe.

Nobody likes arabs, no matter how much you arabs troll here the TRUTH is that everyone HATES arabs.

Don't care, Arabs like the rest of the middle east thrive on hostility so you will only fuel their anger with that. Your problem isn't Arabs, you want the European to respect you and put you on a special plate to exclude you from Muslims, too bad your leader thinks different.

.
MB’s like him always talk with a fork tongue and he is no different . They were time when he was in total agreement and even suggested Jerusalem to be capital of Israel...
KSA, Egypt and Qatar agreed to the move and designation of Jerusalem as a Jewish capital, during Trump visit...Ergodan chose the call for East Jerusalem as Palestinian Capital, to which the Arab agreed..that is a double sword in the back of the Palestinians...They played in the hand of Israel, exactly as Trump planned it..

On the contrary. Don't project as usual. You were already told that by numerous users, including plenty of non-Arabs. In short, take your pills troll.

I disagree.

I don't see any difference in approach and neither does the only Palestinian on PDF, our brother @Falcon29 whose views I respect a lot and genuine stances although I don't agree with him on EVERY thing, albeit we agree mostly about the region and what to do and what not to do.

KSA ever since King Salman (if we exclude Yemen) has been more busy internally and Islamists and pseudo-Islamists have interpreted the many recent, positive, necessary and long sought after reforms on all fronts, as some kind of crusade against Islam which is simply ridiculous. Certain nonsense interpretations and policies that had been in place for 30 + years ever since 1979 (Grand Mosque Seizure, "Islamic Revolution" next door in Iran) not to mention the Sahwa movement (please read about it as it is quite interesting) are being corrected which has enormous support among the people.

Does not sound like a "harsh approach" to me. Actually those arrested are all well-known for their corruption and neglect. Some of them caused the Jeddah Floods that killed well over 100 people. The event that gave rise to a street in Jeddah being named after a Pakistani hero who saved 3 children of a local family but sadly drowned in the process.

As for this being a power play, this has always been the case with humans, sadly. It is what it is. We need to make the best out of it.

Jeddah council honours Pakistani man who died while rescuing family during Jeddah floods by naming street after him. #Saudi #Hero

Erdogan is a better populist than MBS and has 17 years experience with this and is more familiar for people so I am not surprised. MbS better not follow that road for his own sake.

BTW Erdogan has even more than 17 years of experience. His "crusade" against the Kemalists dates back more than 17 years. Already when he was a mayor of Istanbul.

I agree but MbS is not exactly taking a non-interventionist policy in the region. I see Yemen as a blunder which could have been resolved via diplomacy, but at the same time can not blame KSA for trying to ensure its security as Yemen is too close to home for instability. It doesn't matter If Turkey has a full on alliance with Israel, nobody will care, but KSA has a certain responsibility in the Islamic world, whether you guys like it or not. You are the custodians of the two holy cities, so anything KSA does is observed and analyzed through a microscopic lens which might not seem fair, but hey it is what it is.

@waz, @The Eagle , @Jungibaaz

The Arab with multiple accounts is troll and being racist again.

Ye it’s the sc, sharif al hijaz and saif al Arab, same account. They post exactly the same things, like each other’s posts etc.

Troll posts, never discuss only copy and paste, bore people to death with the same pictures.

You will find them trolling on every Turkey thread and ruining every discussion but it’s ok Arabs have the green card to do that here.

Us Turkish members should look at moving forum or creating our own one, we shouldn’t be on a place that allows anti Turkish propaganda and racism go free.

Ask @WebMaster for a Turkish mod. I think @cabatli_53 is a Turkish mod, but he is not as active as he used to be.

What an *** licker...

ps Give us a translation of the whole letter. Let’s see how deep Erdogan’s nose is up his comrades’s assholes.
There is no letter he just sent a twitter message to all arab nations stating

All arab countries are like soul , heart and very dear freinds and companions to us, like our brothers in central asias, balkan, caucasia and other parts of world

.
Islamists like you should never insult Arabs. Don't forget what ethnicity your Prophet (saws) was and most important Islamic personalities. Or which lineage past Prophets belonged to.

And that gives you license to insult anyone?

If Prophet PBUH was from your ethnicity, then look at what azaab e Ilahi Arabs are currently going through. Despite being rich and resourceful, Arabs have zero presence in world. Their countries have been destroyed one after the other by Western Imperialists while Arabs among themselves are squibbling and slitting each other's throats.

Being Prophet PBUH ethnicity also put an extreme responsibility on you. But your country is now in league with Israel. You dont even say a word against occupation of Palestine. Your country's response to US declaring Jerusalem Israel's capital was conspicuous by its silence. You along with Iran has set Muslim world on fire using Islam to promote their ideological interests.

.
UAE leader should also write letter to Turks in Turkish language.

.
Some Turkish members here are once again missing the point and getting mad for no reason, Erdoğan is doing the right thing trying to strengthen our ties with the Arab world...Those fake Arab leaders may hate Turkey and Erdoğan for whatever reason but most Arabs love Turkey :) You can just see that by looking at some Turkish music or serial videos or military videos to see how much they actually support us.

A shame that threads like this turn into a troll-fest because of some members.

Thread is pretty clean now. Few would have received inbox messages as well. Hopefully, no further reminders in future, would be needed to remind that keep your superiority/racial complexity and hatred against others; away from this Forum and have the discussion based upon strategical values as well as keeping the subject in view for better reading. Ironically, the outside world laughs because of our own take, approach and scuffling on petty issues. The few really needs to get off the high horse especially, when having a conversation on this Forum hence, do not insult others, be civilized, do not use inappropriate language and once you made your point, there is no need to copy paste again & again which becomes more annoying than making any point.

Regards,

Totally agree, we should be playing to the Arab crowd not the governments, the people in Arab lands still remember and look favourably at the Ottoman legacy, I’ve experienced it first had majority of Arabs love Turks and it’s the reason countries such as UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt are feeling there dictatorships threaten.
