What's new

Let's not forget when Netanyahu revealed his true targets: "First is called Iran, and the Second is called Pakistan".

The missile did not carry any warhead.

Pakistan military was tracking it and concluded that it was not a risk.

But it did cause structural damage to the small town. Pakistan has so far received a cold shoulder to repeated request into investigating the matter. I don't know if financially the damages have been paid for.

wat bout samson option israel threatens europe with.
In essence, Israel would view Europe as its greatest threat. However, they have Europe all under their control due to their lobbying and positions. The Samson option is just a backup plan if all else fails.

Pakistan and Iran are 2 powerful Islamic states, they must sign a defence treaty so if one state gets attacked then its a attack on both. Just a simple defence treaty, nothing to do with fighting wars in other lands etc but just for protection from foreign invasions, separatism, terrorism.

Pakistan will be safe.

Pakistan’s Military Cooperation with Israel

There is no "military cooperation" with Israel and as expected, the article was clutching at straws to make connections. Have Pakistan and Israel talked? Yes, they have. All countries do. Iranians talks to Israelis, we talk to Indians. It is obvious that these contacts are done through the security/intelligence apparatus or FO.

However, Pakistan has not and inshallah will not sell out on the Palestinians.

What if Pakistan signs it and Iran goes to war against KSA (hopefully they don't since both sides have normalized with China's intervention), or for that matter what if the US attacks Iran, what options do we have?

I think a better option, if our idiots can get over their infighting ever, would be to form a nascent SCO like structure around OIC. This should start with OIC policing intra-OIC conflicts with peacekeeping forces first instead of relying on the US/West/Russia etc. for these roles. Start pushing non-Muslim countries out of intra-muslim conflicts. Exercise this muscle, do a lot more join exercises, FTAs under a structured program. Fund the IDB to take on the role of IMF/WB over a period of time.

The approach should be "the whole of Muslim world + friends" at our collective terms. This is absolutely no different than what NATO (Israel is essentially part of it) has done. There should be no shame in feverishly pursuing this goal however, it will require strong leadership from across the Muslim world.

Then you have the collective capability of 1.6B people. OIC could even make a strong case for a rotating permanent member nominated from OIC in the Security Council.

Perhaps a pipe-dream but certainly feasible if the will is there after seeing the situation of Palestinians and Muslims in general. If BRICS can think of an alternate world view, so can OIC.

We are on our guard with or without IK or any leader.

I disagree. This is the same military/intelligence that was graced with the accusation of "Running with the hare and hunting with the hounds" by the very West you cite.

Most people here are devoid of this understanding. Just because the current political narrative paints things a certain way does not mean our establishment is subservient to someone else's interests. Just like everyone else, our folks too are constantly balancing tactical vs. strategic interests and when they do that, things seem a certain way. The long play is to not have Pakistan dependent on the West. However, tactically, this is a compulsion due to our own mis-governance and shoddy management of the economy.
There used to be a time when the establishment transcended the whims of a few individuals and worked for national interests such as the nuclear weapons program. This is not the case anymore. The establishment is only one man, the COAS.

If he capitulates to foreign interests, then so does Pakistan. If he threatens foreign interests, then he is removed or even killed in plane crashes. But make no mistake about it, the COAS is the establishment.

There was a time when you were stuck with small men in big offices in civilian sphere. Now the same applies to the military. Asim Munir locking Khan up is only one example. Even Bajwa didn't take it this far.

I think its Arab`s issue, let them handle.

Will Palestine or any Arab country send forces for Kashmir?

So, You want they drag your country in FATF or no bailout from IMF?
Another proxy will start against Pakistan, If Pakistan try this stupidity.

Why are faujeets supporting Sipah-e-Sahaba if they are worried about FATF 😂

US has no problem for SSP.
US only problem seems Lashka e Tayaba. They want to ease India just because of China.
Their next proxy is India against China.

I'm going to disagree with this. Pakistan does not need a defense treaty with Iran. Despite peace overtures, Iran has backstabbed Pakistan. They support the Baloch militants, attacks in Balochistan, with the aim of preventing Gwadar from succeeding against Chabahar and to lure Chinese investment. They hosted Kulbhushan and many more R&AW agents.

What Pakistan needs is to pull itself together and focus inwards on strengthening its economy, education system, internal security, institutions, and even the military.

How can the military be strengthened? By reforming it through weakening the COAS role so Pakistan doesn't become a one-man-rule banana republic and instead becomes a powerful modern military. Removing ISI from military control and splitting it into two agencies, one for internal security, another external security. Both are civilian led.

The US does not have a COAS that controls the military, but acts as an advisor instead. The US has the CIA for external and FBI for internal, both of which are civilian led. The American system works whereas Pakistan is a lawless banana republic where anyone or anything can be blown up at any time.

Stop begging other countries or even expatriates. Stop looking for messiahs or heroes to save you. Stop looking for shortcuts. You can only depend on yourselves and no one else. China, GCC, US, EU will not help. This dependency on others mentality is the reason why Pakistan is garbage dump. Pakistanis keep expecting others to solve their problems.

Just wait for Saudi Arabia and its lackeys to recognise Israel. It will happen at some point in the future. Pakistan will fold like a house of cards and recognise Israel.
