But the root cause of this mess is the ideology. There is almost an endless supply of terrorism where the ideology is to indoctrinate young people to hate others.
The approach has to be two-pronged in dealing with these loonies. We need precision attack capabilities using covert means to deal with these terrorists and yet find means to defuse this ideology of hate and terror with coercive and stern means without using lethal force. Hot and cold methods in short.
Our cold method is good enough needing some tweaks, but we lack significant lethal force. This has to change.
Pakistan even with its desire to help us from civilian side, cannot do much until their military and intel agencies are ruling their country. I see genuine intent from PM Sharif to come forth to solve past issues but something and some entity is preventing him from taking any serious steps.
