Agreed more and better competition will raise their standards. If one or two get into IPL then it will be great boost monetary wise and also experience.rational would be that local clubs in India which plays a lot of cricket sees the Afghans playing and maybe enlist some of them for their club matches, maybe later on induction into IPL ?

Instead of squabbling we should look at raising the standards of game. If the same continues cricket will see the fate that befell hockey. Only saving grace is that few countries play cricket.
Personally I would see subcontinent teams play football/hockey.
